I met Lloyd Kaufmann in the early 2000s in an Orlando convenience store. (We were both down there to attend Megacon). I said “oh my god! I know you! You’re……that guy!” (Couldn’t remember his name out of sheer surprise). He said “Yes! I am that guy!”

It's been a while since I've seen this movie, but I'm pretty positive that at one point (it might've been at the gym) the Toxic Avenger scares everyone before or while murdering someone and in a group shot of everyone else reacting to him you can see the same actor that played the nerd Melvin. The guy who got turned into the Toxic Avenger.

Ah, this brings back memories of when I destroyed my brain cells with movies before I could legally buy alcohol. If you want to see something offensive, even for the 80s, watch Troma's War. A friend of mine got ahold of it back then, and I did know if I wanted to punch him or shake his hand after watching it.

Loved your reactions to this one :)
We used to watch this alot during our teen years. It's was a fun movie to show at parties, with people not knowing what shit would unfold upon the screen. The reaction to the over the top madness and gore, was usually a bit more positive at our house.
I think you guys might have needed something much stronger to drink for this one :D

How do you go into a Troma film treating it like a normal film. The point is to be cheesy. It's not supposed to make since or be realistic. Watch it like a movie that you and your friends made in high school.

I definitely got a soft spot for this one. It's one of the very first horror movies i ever watched when I was around eight years old. I was with my mom at my local video store. I remember choosing this cause the cover looked like a cartoon. If she only knew haha. For some reason.. the only scene that made me cover my eyes was when Toxie was fighting with cigar face and his goons in that dark alley haha. The good old days.

I remember quite liking Sgt. Kabukiman and Killer Condom. Jason said he probably wouldn't do another Troma movie, but Kabukiman might be good for their show. It's been years since I've seen it tho. Also I think he's right about them spending the budget in the first half hour, Class of Nuke 'Em High was like that if I remember correctly, some cool effects early on then not much the rest of the movie.
