As far as I know, there is nothing as "curry" or "curry sauce". It's just a thing British made up. "Curry" as far as I know, is a Tamil word that means meat. The British could not grasp around the whole idea of Indian food, and how complex and intricate a dish can be. So they just made a standard "curry sauce" recipe,just like tomato sauce or soy sauce lol.
Not all Indians are late... Everybody is different
Indians are late except that, i have never attended a function that started on time
Yeah. I 'm someone who prefers to be on correct time. My mom likes to be 10 minutes early while my father likes to be 1 hr early. But most of the time, planned events doesn't start at the mentioned time which makes me wonder whether they mentioned a time earlier so that even latecomers won't be late.

The ones on time are exceptions. MOST, and by most, I mean ALMOST everyone is late. I used to arrive on time for my friends but they were all always late so I decided to arrive on time and then wander somewhere else until they have arrived and then I used to get back to the meeting place. I'm never late for office work though.
I can never ever manage to be on time. Time stresses me out... 😅

Basically we don,t bargain for food item but we bargain for froot and vegetable as price of frouite and vegetable cganges on daily basis but price of dishes are fixed throughout the year
The arrange marriage stereotype is the most annoying for me Like my entire family had love marriages. Parents uncles, aunts. Everybody. Even neighbours, nd friends.
The curry thing is also annoying.
Please understand the love marriage aspect in your family IS an anomaly
Understand one thing not everyone has the same family like you. In my family nobody has had a love marriage. Some of them were even forced. And almost everyone has the same story from where I come from. Probably try to understand the actual reality for a lot of people in our country.
I am guessing by your surname that you are a Bengali, I am one too, it's much more common in my family to have love marriages too with people of any caste/community. Growing up, I thought that's the norm, why do people stereotype Indians that way. But when I grew up, moved to different cities, interacted with people from everywhere, I realised that's an exception. My circle isn't a good example for understanding most of India.

If u go to the India,families are more open minded and even people in villages are becoming open minded. They will always support you in your decisions. In some places in india people are little orthodox in mindset and they specifically become to muslim community
The "curry smell" is the spice stench that clings onto your clothes. Pair that with most Indians not wearing deodorant, and you get a smell that could suffocate you.
