Well, If I were to die in 10 minutes, the impersonal flow of kammas abandoning this actual disintegrating physical form ("myself", so to say) would be embodied in a new form, either physical or ethereal, in one of the 31 realms of existence according to the quality of that flow of kammas. "I" would be no more, of course. I like to call this "impersonal continuity" as opposed to the presupposed "personal continuity" which is believed to be as a result of sakkaya dhitti, that "I" will be reborn, which is erroneous, of course. "We" are not reborn. It is just "our" kammas which take new forms from one existence to another according to their quality. It seems quite logical, really.

yes if the Cittā is released that is one thing. If Avijjā is still present, where will it go? This is the scary part.

@@varapanno Well I think that things go forward regardless of Avijjā. I mean, no matter how ignorant the individual is, the impersonal flow of kammas just flows and flows. Avijjā may be inherited by the next existence, but things go the same regardless of the level of ignorance, I think.
