Thanks for the update. Looking forward to seeing Powell progress. And that steamer looks good! I have a whole box of vintage brass steam locos and can't even begin to imagine converting them all to DCC and sound. Maybe someday I'll backdate to steam. 😁
I would come to the next session but obviously you haven’t fixed that weight adding camera, lol. That was a great layout update. Nice job on the loco and the rocks. I can’t wait to see how the blending of the rock molds goes.
@@chicagodenvernorthern999 Got a date - 21 March at 1:00 pm. If you come down early, you can join the out-of-town group (and me) for lunch. email me for more details.
Who is that VERY competent modeler at the end?? He obviously knows how to railroad!!! You actually did something in the last month. I am amazed at the progress. That S2 has been quite the challenge, but it's in way better shape now than when you got it. Nice update, and looking forward to the trip to Cody next week!!! What would you do without my help??? haha
Ya gotta spend money to make money, and you need all the money you can get!! Glad you got the tender problem fixed!!!! I knew you could do it, even without my help. HAHA@@mapruitt
Well, you like to spend my money, so I inturn like to help you spend your money. It's so much fun!!! Glad you got those tender trucks fixed. Now you can put the new ones on when they arrive. haha@@mapruitt
I wouldn't pour the metal in it. I'd create a mold to form and then use double sided foam tape on the curved face and mount it around the gearbox of the model.
Everytime I watch I 1. Wish I had space to build the layout I want, and 2 wish I had this much knowledge. Great update again Mark!
Thanks Steve! The knowledge comes with time (except for me. I just bluff my way along, and so far it's usually worked out).
I'm glad to see all the progress, as usual, on the CB&Q and CN&W in Wyoming....from Nebraska.
Thanks Charlie! Coming over for the operating session?
@mapruitt Who knows where I'll be when you do decide to have it in a few weeks. But one of these times, I'm just going to show up.
Great update, Mark! As always, weather, roads and work permitting, I'd love to attend the next ops session.
Hey now, NO EXCUSES, Kevin! 😁
@@mapruitt Considering that we are currently snow at about an inch an hour, I don't plan to challenge Mother Nature!
The variety of differing tasks within our hobby keeps it interesting, Mark. Another busy month for sure.
Hi Bruce, thanks for watching!

Thanks Paul! I spent a LOT of time converting that steamer, but it was worth it!
That Pacific looks like a lot of work, but it also looks like it will be worth the effort.
Thanks!

I'd be interested in attending your next ops session.
Great! Will you be in Casper in the first half of March?
@@mapruitt I'm in Buffalo so I could zip down for an ops session.
@@chicagodenvernorthern999 Great! I'll let you know when I have a final date.

Great progress, I’d luv to attend, but it’s not gonna happen soon.
Thanks Tom! Hopefully I'll be here for years, so when you're on vacation in my neck of the woods...

Probably spend less money.
I fixed the tender wheel problem, by the way.

Do you know a date would be interested in coming.
It'll be the first half of March, but I haven't got an exact date yet. Soon.
Date is now 21 March. Let me know if you can join us! Lunch is also an option...
