As a 35-year RF and electronics engineer, and someone who studied the Apollo Unified S-Band system in college, I lam amazed at what this team has accomplished. I've seen every one of CuriousMarc's videos on this, and read AGC code. Love it.
I watched all of curiousmarcs videos and some of the talks they gave over the years. It feels like I already know the story but every time I learn something new.
Mike needs his own interview, but he has since transcended verbal language, been sucked into a black hole, and is undergoing a few upgrades before returning in a different form.
I’ve been working on a replica AGC out of 74 series logic and Mike has been super generous in pointing out various aspect of the computer as I work through it
Mark and his team are simply *FANTASTIC* in ingenuity and intelligence. Following the AGC series, several times i felt a sliver in my spine. Too sorry that Mike wasn't there. I would like to know, from him as a youngster, his opinion about th AGC Computer structure. Also I haven't seen any follow-up from the screen printed phenomenally reconstructed AGC display from Ben Krasnow. Thanks anyway for all your efforts.
@mariodistefano2973: We are so glad that you enjoyed this talk! At least Mike was able to make another talk at VCF West in August 2024. Lots of cool stuff that they talked about.

@gth042: Yes, We would love to have Mike there in any form that is possible for corporeal beings to comprehend.

One thumbs up is not enough.
@peterwmdavis: You got that right!
It's a shame no one asked if Doom would run on the AGC.
Gonna be hard without good visual output.
@@Hans-gb4mv DSKY has enough pixels for that 👌
@AmBeam: Yeah. It gets tired after a while that the measure is always "Can it run Doom?"
@Hans-gb4mv: Yeah, It wouldn't work. I think that person was being sarcastic.
@AmBeam: Perhaps!
I wish the opening presenter said less, and Marc said more.
@David-lb4te: Marc is an amazing guy!
