Great update, Mark! You continue to make great progress. I sure had a good time at the operating session -- no complaints here. Your layout is really great, and I enjoy operating on it!
Well Mr. Kronkite, Where do I start?? So much GOOD stuff in this video, and it's SO NICE to see you getting something done with the switches, and everything else you have been doing. And all this time I thought you were slacking, like me. haha I do a great job of that, in case you haven't noticed. Especially during an OP Session. HAHA The layout is looking gooder all the time, and soon you'll have a real railroad........ well, ifn ya had some Diesels. haha Good Job young feller!!!!!
Thanks Paul! In my version of history, the Milwaukee Mikes are here on a lease program 😁 (Actually I've already bought them). Once they've proved themselves, they'll be purchased outright and relettered.
Can you tell us a bit about the two ten wheelers that were closest in the line-up... that have the last set of driving wheels under the cab? Thanks in anticipation.
Hi Hotdog! The Ten-Wheelers are brass models from Nickel Plate Products. They're models of the Burlington K-2's. The models were produced in the mid-1970's, roughly. In the mid-30's the Casper division had a K-10 on the roster, but the closest I can come is the somewhat older K-2, which survived elsewhere on the railroad into the 1940's and even 1950's.
@@mapruitt Thanks for that, I'm a bit of an oddity doing old time US steam in the UK. Then again, it doesn't appear there are many people world wide. Appreciated.
Great update and thanks for sharing. Dave
Thanks Dave!
I wish I could get as much done as you seem to be able to do. Looking great as usual!
Thanks Claude!
From the mushroom cloud to the Kronkite chronicles, the comedy relief has me in stitches! Encore, encore!! Another month and another job well done !
Thanks Charlie! When are you coming to visit again?
Every time you ask that, I feel a little more guilty for not having visited already, and it's only been 54½ weeks(but who's counting!)

Thanks Kevin! I'm looking forward to operating on your layout!

Thanks - I think.
Progress will accelerate when you start coming down in a few weeks. I'm going to put you to work on staging!
Oh, but I feel sick. I don't think I can make it. Maybe in a month or two?? HAHA Sounds fun!!!! @@mapruitt
You are sick, but that's a MENTAL health problem, not a physical one.
@@mapruitt It all started when I was a wee Ladd. You shouldn't make fun of me ya know. haha
Another good update. Inspires me to get more done on mine. About those Milwaukee mikados, are you going to run them as MILW or as CB&Q?
Thanks Paul!

@@mapruittThat works! I have 4 Alco RS-1s waiting for DCC/Sound upgrades that will be run as leased power. C&O, Rock Island, and two M&StL. 😀

I thought I left a comment earlier, buts there are none…
Hi Tom, there are usually more comments by now, but...
@@mapruittThat's because some of us who still have day jobs to support our model railroads were at work! 😂
