Lily Orchard, who was wrong about a LOT of things, was wrong about Little Witch Academia.
Well, here's a video I scripted, recorded and edited pointing out how wrong she is.

If I remember correctly, Lily hated the Owl House episode “Hollow Mind” because to her, it was “filler” or something like that. I don’t even need to go into detail why that is factually wrong.
Lwa is a cute , often sad story with loveable characters and a very unique story
Ah yes Lily Orchard. I use to watch her stuff, don’t anymore. Weirdly enough it was her videos about LWA that got me to watch it. We live in a strange world.

Also Lily doesnt like Diana and Akko yet at the same time she adores Luz and Amity. For those of you who dont get it the Owl House has a lot of references to popular witch related media including Little Witch Academia and the references to Akko and Diana in Luz and Amity are clearly visible. Kind of hypocritical from Lily's part if you ask me.

It's literally the post it note you've got left over somewhere in your drawer from back in High School.
I was a fan of Lily when she made those LWA videos. They baffled me at the time. Now, I can see that Lily just wanted it to be something it wasn’t trying to be and she refused to compromise. She did this very same thing again recently with Dungeon Meshi. She took down the video, probably because she realized how popular Dungeon Meshi is and knew she’d get more backlash for it than usual.
She put it back up... with a foreword about how anime fans are either transphobic Neo-Nazis or stupid teenagers with terrible taste.

Yeah Lily is a champion when it comes to hypocricy. In that regard she is a combo of Ursula, Queen Chrysalis, Cozy Glow and Emperor Belos.
You have no idea how baffled I am to find a new video on her. I mean she’s been falling for years at this point
I keep seeing a trend of TH-camrs dismantling Lily's videos, and it's honestly quite a good watch.
When I first saw her (?) videos (with that deep, masculine voice that she never seems to transition from), I thought she had a point, but it was mostly because of how confident she sounds in every argument she makes But when you stop to think about what is actually being said, it's like HBomberGuy's take on Dark Souls, you could spend 10 hours debunking every single line she said!
LWA is such a good show with consistently written characters and great animation, it's hard to believe finds it boring, but if they do, are they really the best person to make a proper critique of the show? Especially if they're going to ignore episodes or dismiss conversations on a whim?
Hey I wanted to give you some constructive criticism for this video as the video didn't really feel very substantial as a response to lily's. So I wanted to offer some advice if you ever wanted to make another response video to someone.
The main thing I have to talk about is how you simply said Lily is wrong for finding the characters boring, that's just not a good argument for anything. You can't say someone is simply wrong for finding something boring, because what someone finds boring is entirely subjective. For example some people don't like action scenes and they're not wrong for not liking action scenes because it's their subjective opinion.
It's the same with lily, her finding the characters boring is her subjective opinion so you can't really argue with that. The thing you should argue with, is her objective reasons for finding them boring if she gave any. What you did was say she's wrong for calling them boring, and then gave your own personal reasons as to why you enjoy them, which doesn't work as a response. Because the point of making a response is to break down the other person's arguments and their reasoning behind them and explain why their objective reasoning is wrong.
You can't argue that someone's subjective opinion on a piece of media is wrong because that gives you basically nothing to work with in your response.
It's the same with the conversations between akko and Diana, you just said she called it boring and then gave your objective reasoning as to why it's an important scene without bringing up lily's reasons for finding the scene boring at all which just made it pointless as a response.
This isn't a comment meant to bash you, I just wanted to try and help you improve your content and maybe even make a full breakdown response to Lily's video because I like LWA too
That's the thing: Lily doesn't give many reasons as to why she thinks something is boring or bad. All she says is "boring" or "bad"
@@LavenderRare well that's sort of understandable because I have stuff I find boring and I just can't explain why. For example I find the soul eater anime incredibly boring but I can't explain why it's just hard to explain and hard to argue against because of that.
Lily would hate The Worst Witch, which is just British LWA (probably LWA and Harry Potter plagiarized TWW but we don’t know for sure)

That nothing new they are wrong about a lot stuff it would be a lot easier to make a video based on what they are not right about then what they are wrong about.
