Honda sure knew how to the graphics right back then that color blue just rocks
My first big bike was an 89 VFR 750 fj ! Loved it wrecked it ,twice then rebuilt it and its first trip was up to scotland on a bank holiday w/e nigh on as soon as i finished . It was good for 150mph 2 up anytime ! Strong as an ox an that sound is addictive always loved rc-30 so the VFR was a no brainer . Mine had a 4-1 motad stainless ex system . Still a stonking machine today . 34 YEARS LATER .Only HONDA can build such over engineered works of art. I would still have another after gsxr 1000,blackbird ,zzr1100,fireblade thunderace etc .That good they are indeed. God bless us all thanks fellas !
I had the opportunity to race a VFR-750 at Talladega super speedway in the 80’s at the final AMA-CCS race held at that racetrack. It was a 4 hour endurance race with one other rider On the high-banks of Talladega wow was that an awesome experience. I always enjoyed riding the VFR. Although my focus was running the Suzuki cup races at the time. Unfortunately at Daytona raceway I blew up the same bike going into the international horseshoe at Daytona. Great memories Good times, racing the VFR. Wow what an incredible bike this was back then.
Man I wish Kaplan cycles were closer to Santa Fe NM!!!
Hey Ken come to NM and I'll get you rip my Aprilia RSV4RR lol! Glorious sound!
Remember riding my first bike(s) Kawasaki 650csr,then soon Yamaha maxim750 around the time these came out or shortly after….there was one of these for sale used at the time ,was a school mates fathers and he wanted $2k and it was almost new in I think it was 1987ish …just a bit more $$ than I could imagine getting my 17 yr old hands on ….but boy did I have a hard time putting it out of my mind… then the ninjas/gpz was all around and I gave up the v4 craving for inline screamers …great forebearer of things to come this bike ,and great memories of that era are brought back seeing it
Road rash just adds character!
I've only ever ridden one V4, my 83 V65 Magna. I loved that bike! I really enjoy seeing all these classic bikes!!!!! 👍
Eric in NC
Wow that v4 sounds like a friggin symphony when she gets opened up! Love it
Cool Honda history definitely nice ride. .👏🙌🇺🇲💯
Ken, that is a sweet bike, I have to agree after hearing it, it is like music! Many bikes have a good unique sound and this one is no different! I love your videos on bikes, I feel like you give a full no nonsense assessment of each bike you feature. If I ever am out that way, I will absolutely check out the museum! Take care!
That’s cool 😎 and that’s coming from a Yamaha guy. Royal ⭐️
We had 750 ones here in the UK
My brother had a 500cc Interceptor way back in the day.
😂kinda looks like the front forks tryin to get away from the rear of bike😊
Letting her sing.
Beautiful sound.... what kind of exhaust does this bike have?
I had a blue and silver 87 with a kerker white tip they sound like a cross plane r1. The sound is what I miss< I ride a cbr 600f4i and it rides very similar.
What is the difference between 700 and 750 version? Thanks
I bought a 750 Interceptor in 1987 it was a leftover 86. Same colors is that one right there. Where is the lower fairing
poor john
Where is the rest of the fairings?
That thing sounds like a small-block chevy. Wow!
