looks like you have same year as mine , How do you adjust the speed / governer? Is it just that little screw at top by throttle and screw it in ? When I screw it in there is no visible difference in the throttle going in or not goin in all the way.
Hi I have a 2005 e-ton viper 70 and I love it but just a few weeks ago it makes this metal clicking sound in the belt drive its the side that connects the engine to the belt and it will slowly get louder than it will just completely stop in a second and then it won't turn over or even move the crank shaft so can you possibly help and make a video about it.
Great video! I followed it step-by-step as I was having the same issue with our Viper 90. It starts like a charm now but sounds like it is idling too low and it will stall when I release the throttle. I have to throttle a little (not much) to keep it running. Is there a way to adjust the idling speed so that it keeps running without having to keep the throttle pressed?
So I have a 2006 Viper 90r....as long as im on the throttle i can keep it running...Anytime I adjust anything to make it sound good, the moment I turn it off and turn it back on its completely different and I have to adjust it again at different settings each time I start it. Should I get a new carb or clean it? I can't find a well built carb for this thing. All I find is 25 dollar carbs.
If it's already been cleaned then it possible it has failed internally. The 25$ carbs are as good as the original in most cases. Unfortunately ethanol fuel reeks havoc on these small carbs.
