To be fair, Fauna's RTX 2070 is more than capable of handling Minecraft even on high settings with reasonable shaders. The bottlneck is more on the side of her CPU, which is also fine for Minecraft, but also has to handle OBS, the capture and encoding for streaming, and the Live2D software, on top of Minecraft.
The main problem comes in with shaders. They're very GPU heavy as opposed to CPU bound. I don't know ender nebula as I don't use shaders but it likely uses ray tracing or high detail textures. A 2070 will lose pretty hard even against a 3070 in ray tracing because it's first vs second generation.
If I ever tried the Vtuber thing its one of the very few times I would get a Intel I9 processer. All the background applications they have to have open would definitely strain my I5. A REALLY good video card is a must as well. Might even invest in a better sound card.

@@whateverdope ehh its pretty weak for a live streamer that wants to stream 1440p at all times at 60fps. its still adequate for most less intense games but the main problem is also the cpu bottlenecking a little bit. plus she needs to have a good graphics setting for it to be presentable for her viewers, so its not wrong to say it a potato for streaming. if she is not streaming that will be way more than adequate (or maybe streaming in lower definitions or lower graphic settings in game).

Have to disagree with you on that. She has the iconic build of 2018; not the fastest paring of its time, but pretty much every reviewer was recommending that combo for great value. Regardless, it is still more than fast enough to run Minecraft. To not get to much into the details, Minecraft's core is really old at this point and doesn't leverage fast CPUs for rendering. As somebody with a Ryzen 5 2600, I can personally conform that her CPU is good for at least 300FPS on Minecraft/optifine.

Funfact if your fans are doing that directly from starting up your computer and even though youre running nothing on it and thats their idle speed. Go into into your bios menu, check your fans, change them from DC mode to either Auto or PWM mode

I actually found out I have the same specs almost to a T as Fauna does during the recent guardian farm build stream, so I know her pc is pretty beefy cause mine still is.
However, is my pc a render consistent 60fps gameplay while also rendering and tracking me through an external software, mapping all of that to an avatar, importing this, the gameplay, and my audio into OBS, also grabbing chat for stream and probably running chrome, and then finally streaming it consistently at 1080p60 all on it’s lonesome in a single pc setup? Probably, but it really depends how demanding on the cpu and RAM the game is and how optimised it is.
Tbh I think if they can afford to do it, hololive members that stream often enough and play demanding titles even occasionally should probably invest in a 2pc setup, one rig for power housing their games, and another for crunching numbers for OBS and LIVE2D/ whatever 3D software they use. The render pc really only needs a beefy cpu and decent ram, and the gaming rig can then get away with using a cheaper cpu and running a monster gpu.
I hope if any of the girls talk about maybe upgrading that someone encourages then to convert the older pc into the streaming workhorse. I think Ame might have a 2pc setup in EN and seems tech savvy so hopefully the suggestion comes from within!

i think rather than a GPU problem, it's her Ryzen 7 2700 that causing that setup a Bottleneck, She need at least 9th or 10th Gen intel i5 or up to match her GPU.

To be fair, a 2070 is still really good, and more than enough for Minecraft with shaders. According to the Steam Hardware Survey of July this year, about 40.6% of GPU's are weaker or on the same level as a 2070.

90% of shader problem on MC is either optifine glitch or incompactible stuff, it have relatively small texture atlas and low poly models, people are treating it as if you need high end specs

Somehow I think people have wildly incorrect image of what makes minecraft work, even with shaders. Since MC and java in general is a single threaded CPU bound application, that's the primary sticking point, and next is amount of allocated RAM.
Then all the way down the list is the GPU, which only matters on bedrock, especially if using the real time ray trace functions.
True that CPU is the most important factor in minecraft. However GPU does play into the equation with shaders and higher graphic settings. Not as important as CPU of course but it does help framerate esp when streaming.
You are completely wrong on that. Optifine shaders are 100% GPU bound, as in they don't run on the CPU at all. With OpenGl games like Minecraft, CPU bottlenecks only happen at high FPS and I can say from personal experience that her CPU doesn't become a bottle neck until at least 300FPS. In Minecraft/Optifine, CPU bottlenecking typically shows up as unloaded chunks or stutter, but has very little effect on average FPS.

What is with all the people who in the comments who think a Ryzen 7 2700 is bottlenecking a RTX 2070? There isn't a single game out today that the 2700 will have trouble streaming. Fast CPUs are for high refresh rate gaming(244 to 360FPS) and have almost no impact below 120FPS. The need for a beefy CPU for streaming was a thing back in 2018, but hasn't been an issue since NVidia's 2000 and AMD's 6000 cards started including streaming focused encoders.
