Hello @guiny , I have a quick tip for you: Try putting GPU Support under the GPU to increase its lifetime, because it is really heavy and you do not want to bend some off the pins.
you should flip the bottom mounted fans the other way around. Your current fan configuration has a lot of negative pressure, which sucks in air from every little crevice. Reversing those fans would provide your GPU more fresh air and improve its temperature under load, as well as decreasing the amount of sound produced from it.
Great video but just wanted to point out that your ram may be running slower than its max potential. Since you put the ram into slots 1 and 3 instead of 2 and 4, this may impact your performance. This is because when you put RAM into dual slot config like yourself, only slots 2 and 4 will allow your RAM to use XMP which lets you take advantage of higher ram speeds. Slots 1 and 3 however do not support this in dual configuration on most motherboards, only when you have all 4 ram slots in use. Generally, slots 2 and 4 are more preferred and its a quick job. Great job on the PC and can't wait for future videos. :D
You're incredibly lucky. I've heard that you're supposed to remove those films before putting all the parts into the computer because if the films create static electricity while the device is on or even had parts installed, there's a chance it jumps to the electronics and immediately kills them, like permanently. When I saw you leave the film on at the beginning I was like "oh, keeping it on for smudge protection, cool." Then I saw you start peeling it off at the end and I was mentally screaming "NO! YOU FOOL! STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING! NOOOOO- oh okay it's fine. Whew."
Him- I'm going to try to go this entire game without dropping below 1,000 fps, Me- I'm going to try to go this entire game without dropping below 100 fps...
I would 100% go AMD for Minecraft, just because when you lock turbo in the BIOS, it shreds through the game. Also I would really throw in an extra 30 bucks for a 13700KF and another 40 bucks for a Z790 motherboard if I'm gonna spend that much anyways. Good SSD choice, no need for some super fast sh*t, however adding a bigass hard drive to store videos on would be a good idea. RAM was installed in dual channel which is good, but in the two wrong slots to use first... good to choose DDR4 though as this processor wouldn't really benefit from faster RAM due to internal limitations of the chip... unlike Ryzen chip which LOOOOVE memory bandwidth. Still make sure you enable XMP though. Power supply a bit overkill but nothing wrong with that. Graphics card is COMPLETE overkill for Minecraft, really all the game cares about it your CPU... obviously you shouldn't use integrated graphics as it still needs performance there, but just take a 3060 and you are set, it's already overkill, I use a GTX 960 for Minecraft 1.8!
You placed the RAM in the wrong slots, usually you'd put them in slots 2 and 4, not 1 and 3, which has to do with the way the RAM is connected to the CPU, which nowadays is by daisychaining. Putting the RAM in slots 1 and 3 could potentially lead to problems negatively impacting performance.
just so u know @Guiny , peeling the glass cover while the pc is on can cause a build up of static electricity and can literally destroy ur pc and fry all of the parts!
remember, that it all happened because one of they proffesional business employees saw your video, your editing style and you humor, and thought "lets send this man a pc"
Epic video! Also just letting you known that if you peel the plastic with the pc while it’s turned on it has a small chance to brick the pc. Luckily yours was fine.
bro took 2 days to build his first pc lmao. for me it took around an hour and a half to build my first pc. i also love it how every time he installs each component, he gets super exited about it which i kinda get cuz if its your first build, your gonna get quite exited about installing parts in it. a great video, it was fun to watch :)
I have to tell you something important guiny... ur wifi is not bad it's that you live in the UK and your internet drops because hypixel is connected to US wifi... I think your usual internet on a server connected to UK proxy would be around 55 to 30/40ms also lunar client ping counter is inaccurate .
Instead of putting the ram sticks on slots 1 and 3 put it on 2 and 4 to start dual channelling. It basically helps you get more fps in whatever games you play. Please take this into consideration. Also really nice pc build my guy... Keep posting those awesome vids
The RAM in the wrong channel slots... still works, but could be faster. Check the Manual and the board itself for indicators on which slots to use. Also please tell me that you did some kind of safety stuff with static electricity.
Good parts in the pc, even the ssd is not overkill, the gpu is fine for triple a games. Would recommend Hdd for video recording and games, but for now looks like a high end gaming system, good job
i dont get what you mean. why anyone would anyone use an hdd for gaming these days. they are fine for recordings like what you said, but hdds are way too slow for gaming. if you cant afford an m.2 ssd, maybe consider getting a sata ssd instead as they are still very quick and very affordable (depends on where your looking).

Don't forget the GPU support in the 70Ti box. Helps a little and doesn't stand out .
Great build . Team TUF !
Thanks for the tip!

it just +10 fps
Move each ram stick one slot over.
