OMG thank you! No more sleeping in a hammock inside my TJ. I too will turn it into a hotel room 😬🙌🏽 And how you used tubes to support the platform is simply brilliant!
That's really great. We do something similar in our 2 dr rag top JK. 6-2 & 5-9. Lots of storage, sleeping for 2, flip open the snrf and howl at the moon.. perfect! 🤗
Do you have to sleep with your knees tucked up at all looking to do something similar and don’t want to be crowded and am a little taller then you and how much weight do you think it can support
The base is 17" to the top, gives max bed length. I'm 6-2, don't bend my legs and sleep comfortably. We use 6' inflatable mattress pads and pillows against the incline. The only complaint is the sound bar being a little low. He looks pretty short, the JK is a few inches longer and wider.
Just had this video suggested to me. Very enjoyable. are you running a roadside cafe or do you always have so many varieties at one meal? And good varieties - maui ribs, pelmeni and loin lamb chops. Perhaps I could hire you as my personal chef. Enjoy your travels. Shalom.
Some good ideas. I think for my 2dr Wrangler JK, i will use some costco bought clear totes for stoage and as my "platform" then lay a couple of thick rubber rollup yoga mats over top, and then lay down a foldup foam mattress like yours, trying to reduce as many rigid installations in the setup.
Probably the best ive seen so far. Cheap and effective. I do this in my ragtop. Stealing your idea for the platform though. Just so you know... Im the worlds second best hunter...
Amazing! But unless I'm mistaken, this wouldn't work in a more modern 2-door right? These 2-door Unlimited are longer if I'm not mistaken. Either way, enjoyed this a lot!
72"....I'm 73" tall, wondering if the platforms could be made about 74" long...maybe by raising them up higher. If only the LJ was like 4" longer! (Or had fold-flat front seats)
James J LaRue the passenger side seat can come forward significantly more which allows room for a longer foldable platform extension. Would be up to 77” in length

MAGIC! You created a Heaven on Earth here! I’d like David to make mine into the same unit! Beautiful !
Bon appetite! #OlllllllO
do you have plans or drawings on how to make the platform? foid is awesome!
That is one sweet setup! And the food...of course we want some! 😉
This would be my favorite hotel 😎

This guy is great! :) can’t wait to transform my 19 JLR into a hotel room 😂
That is one big feast kkkk .... Like the idea.
These guys don't mess around when it comes to camping.
It's an unlimited, let me know when you fit two people in a standard tj

I used to watch you're videos years ago glad to know you still make some
Thank you! :)
This guy knows how to live! 😁
This is so good for many reasons!
We don't have much, but we have Davie
:'D
Love it, and you saved $3000 not buying a roof top tent:)
👏👏👏
big idea .... amazing
Awesome vid! You guys get any draws this year? Looks like dad’s out there scouting.
Mike K yes my dad got Idaho mule deer
Thats awesome man! Good luck! Were headed to Wyoming after three years of applying. Good luck to everybody!
Nice, but his feet are over the edge of the Jeep so that the door can't close. Maybe this works for a short person.
😂 the music… gees.. not needed
The music was so loud I couldn’t hear what he was saying.
i like the platform quite a bit, but if you have to go full yard sale, why not just use a tent?
Security at night
Nice. Is this Jeep LJ? Longer than JK right?
nivlem131303 yes that’s right
Hey just wondering how long is it
Andrew Gosselin if you sleep stretched out like a cadaver, it's probably too short..😄
We sleep in our JK, 6-2 and 5-9.
I love your hunting style would love to hunt with you guys
Nice license plates

Gotta lose the music too loud. Couldn’t get into your presentation
