Gonna be fun seeing you fire the magnetic rounds. I wonder if you used a nail file if that would remove the nubs easier on the v3 rounds. Just wondering if there is a way to find out what the bore diameter of the HDX is without taking it apart. When I manually load a Homewrecker ball in the barrel to test if it will roll out the end or get stuck, they get stuck which is weird since Less Lethal Defense sells them for the HDX. I tested several balls to see if it was just the one and they all get stuck.
Nail file could work, even just a plain exacto. I only trimmed 7 for my Byrna video. I am going to shoot the rest untouched and check back after they have been cycled a bunch of times. I like to be honest about what i see but i think these nubs are a non issue that some might make a big deal over. Ill go see if i can grab a measurement off my HDX. Callipers aren’t the best to measure bore. Edit: Best i can get with callipers on the HDX is 0.685.
I haven't found anything I like about shaped projectiles. Touchy, always jamming and I always have random flyers at any distance over about 30'. And those nubs on the round ones are just....no. You see them sometimes on the V2's as well. I've even found some Grimburgs are too big for my LAPCO 0.687, round and shaped ones. None of that stuff with RiotBalls which tend to be perfectly spherical, seamless and in the end more accurate. I'm gradually moving away from Grimburg.
I will agree with what you said about shaped projectiles up until i can test the new magnetic properties. Is it the one thing that can change our minds? As for the nubs. The manufacturing process always leaves some evidence behind whether it be nubs or machine marks in metal. I take stuff like this as normal. Will they get better over time? My guess is yes. Grimburg is one of the few companies that puts in the leg work for the LL community.
Thank you Sean🙏. Yes the weight is correct. I messured 130 grn or 8,5 gram so your scale is correct 😃👍
Thats great news Rune! Or both our scales are wrong 🤣🤣🤣
@@lesslethalfordummies I hope they are correct 😆🤣
I'd like to see how they do in the M17 with the magnets💥💥💥
You and 100 other people. 😆 Hopefully later today.
👍

You have all night. Your a Vampire like me !!
Just a bit of sand paper will do if needed
Awesome, can't wait to see the test. Are you going to use the .684 Lapco??
Haven’t gotten that far yet 😁 I will likely send them through something a shouldn’t.
I was thinking how boring of a job for that lady sitting there snipping the nub off the balls all day in the new Grimburg expansion video
Yes you saw that too eh?
@@lesslethalfordummies
She makes $25 an hour doing that lol
@@dougbrodsky3745well she earned it!
Guess people will start Complaining why they are gonna start missing the target, because ya shooting in a magnetic 🧲 room 😂 !
😂 the same problem may occur in space 🚀

How’s it going buddy?
All good in the hood. Just finished watching your new builds.
@@lesslethalfordummies thanks brother
disappointing finish
It will bother some surely. Surprisingly this one doesn’t bother my OCD 😆
