Out of ten top I watched six of them. Kirk Douglas was my favourite movie star. Great actor! RIP
All are worth seeing again. When movies were movies. Everyone a winner.
The part played by Burt Lancaster in the film “Seven Days in May” was in fact an Air Force general not army. I also put seven days in May at the top of the list as number one, it was a fantastic film.
'Last Train from Gunhill' is my favourite , should have been in top ten.
The video left out Douglas' breakout role as a ruthless boxer in "Champion." Another great Douglas performance was in "The Devil's Disciple" as a colonial in American Revolutionary New York. It is the filmization of a George Bernard Shaw play,
What a tough list! So many to choose from.
I like the most "Gunfight at the OK corral"
My all-time favorite Western.
He stole the movie from Burt.
Lonely are the brave us mine, and was his favorite too...heard him say it a lot of times.
Champion should be on the list.
Just watched Paths of Glory for the first time. Dude was such a G!
I got to meet Kirk Douglas while asked to guide fish Paulina Lake in Oregon along with Kirk's whole group including Michael. It was a fun day realling in big rainbows an German Brown trout.
'The Gunfight At Ok Corral'
'Last Train From Gun Hill'
'The Last Sunset'
'The War Wagon'
'Lonely Are The Brave'
Them are my favorite Kirk Douglas movies
Kirk should have won an Oscar for detective story his best performance
Spartacus and Paths of Glory are my favorite
As a six decade Kirk Douglas fan, my no.1 would be Ace In The Hole, no.2 Strangers When We
Meet, No.3 Last Train From Gun Hill, No.4 Lonely Are The Brave ,No.5 Paths Of Glory, No. 6 Spartacus No.7 Out Of The Past, No.8 The Bad And The Beautiful, No.9 Detective Story, No.10 The War Wagon
Very very great epic list I like it a lot very great job 🙂👍 he is one of the very best actor ever
I can't believe they left out "Champion," the film that catapulted Douglas to stardom!
"The Brotherhood" a cinematic flop but a tour de force for Douglas.
"Gunfight at the OK Corral". His Doc Holiday is yet to be beaten.
"Man Without A Star". A fun romp with Douglas as a lovable rogue.
Out of the past best film noir ever made but Mitchum was the star and Kirk played a supporting role
Last train from gun hill
I always liked him best in Spartacus (1960). I also liked him so far in Ace in the Hole (1951), The Bad and the Beautiful (1952), 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954), Lust for Life (1956), Paths of Glory (1957), Lonely Are the Brave (1962) and Seven Days in May (1964).
You left off his finest performance, playing two roles in The Man From Snowy River, a wonderful film!
Spartacus is my favorite movie.
Yes, it's a good list. "Paths of Glory" is a masterpiece.
What about 'the Indian Fighter'....??? was a great one...can't believe it's not mentioned...
N. 1 L'Asso nella manica pari merito con Orrizzonti di Gloria 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
My favorite KD performance is also "Paths of Glory." Among those that were not mentioned, I also love "There was a Crooked Man. . ."
P.S. You say "Walter Pidgeon" and show Dick Powell. . . And you mispronounce Charles Laughton's last name. . .
My favorite of Kirk's is "The War Wagon" with John Wayne
The film that launched him to stardom should be on this list. CHAMPION.
Spartacus - best movie with best love story and best line.
K Douglas westerns films are the best plus Spartacus and the vikings
Spartacus,Detective Story,A Town Without Pity, Paths of Glory - go from there.....
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea is great!
are used to love Kirk, Douglas movies, that is until I saw the stories from several different sources over the years of what he did to young Natalie Wood, when she was under age and put her in the hospital. Natalie‘s mother thought it would harm Natalie‘s career if they went to the police so they did nothing.
I always made sure to set my DVR to record any movie Kirk Douglas was in, until I saw that report
It would seem you're unable to separate screen persona from reality.
Last train from Gun Hill
Lonely Our the Brave should be number one..
Regret that you miss Elia KAZAN.
Last train from Gun Hill,
The Last Sunset.
Ulysses cannot be above Spartacus!
For me - Lonely Are The Brave is number one, followed by Spartacus and Ace In The Hole
The man from snowy ruver
Man without a Star
Thank u but i really disagree i really really love gun fight at ok correll 1957 him and burt lecaster and the original hatfields and mc coys him and jimmy stewart i really really want 2 know the name of it

1962
Could you please do a Top 10 Kevin Spacey Movies?
Yes please do that list please 🥺
Out of the past
i want tommy le Jones movies❤️
What about Champion ? Tired of the AI narration mispronouncing words.
👌👌
Do you know who anybody actually is? Mispronounced names and pictures of actors who aren’t the name you state. Good film picks though. Although some of the movies included aren’t as good as the movies not included. Last train from Gun Hill is Kirk’s best movie.
Okay listing (there are so many titles to choose from with Douglas, it's really subjective) but the narrator needs to take a film class! Too many names, including that of Ava Gardner (!), are mispronounced. And you don't always need to identify something as a "politicall thriller film" or an "action adventure film." The word "film" is inherent ... as this is a listing of "Top 10 Kirk Douglas Movies." As a college professor, I give the script and its reading a "C."
Too much commentary. Let us hear the actor.

Pretty good list except for ace in the hole a very stupid and unrealistic film.
