Yet once again I watched this video, I really love this video... thank you so much for sharing, Darren, I would like to ask you something about this night market. actually I will be in Ao Nang for a short visit before heading back to Bangkok in December, so I would have only one night in Ao Nang. Could you please let me know at what time this market opens and at what time it closes.. cause I have heard you can't get / hard to get transportation back to Ao Nang around 8pm or 9 pm. I would certainly want to visit Krabi night market...thank you in advance..
I'm glad you like it. This market is open on Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights and from about 4PM till 10PM. There are songthaews (local public transport) that run until about 9PM which can take you from the mrket to Ao Nang. Otherwise you can book a bus at any of the tour information shops in Ao Nang which will pick you up from your hotel in Ao Nang, take you to the market & then return you to your hotel in Ao Nang at around 10PM.

There's loads of street food on the streets in Krabi, you'll find it easily on any day of the week, but there are 3 main markets open on Thursdays in Krabi Town with lots of street food. One is the City Market, in the center of Krabi Town, on Maharaj 10 Road, it's open every day. There's another street market on Chao Fah Road on Thursdays, which is also close to the center of town. A few kilometers out of town there's another market open on Thursdays on the corner of Maharaj Road and Phetkasem Road. I hope that helps.
Hi, I have never heard anywhere which is not safe in Krabi. The website I always use for booking accommodation is agoda.com I sort the accommodation by customer satisfaction and look for a place with what I want, which has happy customers :) I hope that helps.

One of my aunties stayed at the L Resort and loved it. My family and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express last year and it was very nice and comfortable. They are both very close to the beach and would suit families.

E1rae Thank you. The market is about 20 kilometres from Ao Nang. You can book mini bus tours to there from the tour sellers in Ao Nang, or you can get the local public transport (a songtaew) from Ao Nang to the market.

No, there are no skateboards at the market. Next to the market is a department store (Vogue) and there is a sports store on the top floor. I'm pretty sure they would have skateboards there.
