That watermelon truck, the sign is written “20/โล” It’s mean 20 baht per kilogram, not for whole 1 watermelon. That’s why they can’t sell it to you and point to another shop.
Those stringy egg yolk is called FOY TONG. Made from well beaten egg yolks, then slowly drizzled into a boiling pot of simple syrup. It would be more appetizing if they had added a drop or two of Vanilla in the syrup though, instead of just egg yolk and sugar, IMHO. Enjoy your day, Mario & Olivia! Oh, one more thing, when buying a pineapple, be sure to look for yellow color one, it will be sweeter! 😋
I think we are neighbors 😊. We were just enjoying those same sweets that we grab at the Wednesday night market (which just restarted) You two are finding some great local gems! Going to have find the noodle lady🍜
Thanks for the skillshare code, great content guys, my wife and I just moved to Asia from Australia & thinking of doing TH-cam as well. Love watching your videos 🤠
Both very similar actually, especially if you go to the local markets and areas. Although sticky rice here is VERY overpriced compared to Laos. We eat it like a delicacy here 😂
I really like your content and it has helped me learn a lot about Ao nang. Kudos to you guys🤟. Me and my wife are going to Ao Nang in the November. Could you share some info on renting a scooter in Ao Nang like 1) Do we need to have an International Driver's license and is it a must. 2) What is the average daily rental fare for a scooter? 3) If Cops catch you do they fine for not having an International Driver's license.
Thanks a lot! Bike rental is around 200-300 baht per day. Maybe you can make a deal if you rent for longer. If you get stopped and you don't have your license, the fine is 500 baht, it's an official fine, they give you a paper and you pay and go. It's around the same amount if you're not wearing a helmet too.
We are traveling from our home in Hua Hin to Krabi next week (for my birthday). Your vlogs are a great help. We hope to follow your food trail. Any chance of finding live music in AoNang? Thank you.
Awesome! Yes, there are so many bars with live music along ao nang beach and noppharat thara beach, it's very common here, you'll have plenty of choice any night of the week!
I love Thai Street Food....I only eat freshly made steaming hot Wok/soup/fried street food, not luke warm bacteria bombs, like you are eating...... learned my lessons from traveling SE asia for 30 years.
Hey guys, be careful with the free water. Just don't know if it's filtered or not. When I'm in Thailand or Lao, or anywhere I always drink water from a bottle. Just hope that bottle is really filtered right!

We had that problem when we were veggie last time in Thailand!
