    I haven't seen such a player since Roger came onto the scene. Carlos possesses a complete arsenal of weapons, lobs, droppers, delicate volleys, etc. He is doing it all at just 20yrs. Phenomenal talent and flawless executions. He is 100% committed to being the very best. His ridiculous win over Novak at Wimbledon seals it for me. The guy is so mentally brutal, while being such a likeable person.

    What a reel!!! This guy is special, like Federer, though in a different way. His drops and lobs, and when he does both, are simply astounding.

    Carlos can hit a rocket forehand, an exquisite dropshot, stinging volleys, etc...But his lobs are breathtaking.

    • @lsmart
      @lsmart ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I agree. His lob may be his most amazing shot of all his incredibly amazing shots. Almost anyone else hits lobs from the center of the court and gets them over an opponent who is close to the net. But to hit these lobs while on the dead run towards the back end corner and get it over an opponent who is only 5-10 feet from his own endline is bonkers!

    His lobs are so great because he hits it like he means it..
    He is the only one who hits the lob with the respect it deserves..
    I hope other players will follow his example and treat the lob like the serve or any other shot for that matter...

    We were lucky to witness the era of the "Big Four". Now we have Alcaraz, who is like all of them combined: Federer's finesse and talent, Djokovic's intelligence and precision, Nadal's endurance and will to win, Murray's speed and fighting spirit -- he's the ultimate player, it just doesn't get any better!

    • @El_Carrito_del_Helao

      "Big Four", you are Brit, right?😂😂

    • @eastfreeze
      @eastfreeze ปีที่แล้ว

      @@El_Carrito_del_Helao Nope, German. But Murray would of course be considered one of the all-time greats, had he not walked into the "Big Three". Did you know, that he played more Grand Slam quarterfinals (30) than, for example, Pete Sampras (29), John McEnroe (26) and Björn Borg (21)? No, you didn't.

    • @El_Carrito_del_Helao
      @El_Carrito_del_Helao ปีที่แล้ว

      @@eastfreeze Quarterfinals? Sampras or Borg? Would be considered? Comparing Murray to the Big Three is a joke and this is why you don't do it.

    • @eastfreeze
      @eastfreeze ปีที่แล้ว

      @@El_Carrito_del_Helao You can try to measure the career achievements of sports personalities by all kinds of criteria, and I've put a lot of work into doing exactly that. Finally I arrived at the conclusion, that -- in Tennis as well as in Snooker -- nothing else separates the all-time greats from the rest of the pack better than the number of quarterfinals reached in the biggest events (Majors), believe me or not. Apart from Federer, Djokovic and Nadal only three other players of the Open Era are ahead of Murray in this respect: Connors (41), Agassi (36) and Lendl (34). So Murray is right among these legends of the game and far ahead of Roger's, Rafa's and Nole's other competitors. That's, why I rightfully call them the "Big Four", not just the "Big Three".

    • @El_Carrito_del_Helao

      @RazOls  ปีที่แล้ว +11

      I think a loss in Rome was expected but perhaps not in that round and against that opponent. He’s been playing a lot lately so in that sense it will be good for him to train and rest ahead of RG. I don’t think he’s too sad about the loss

    Certes Alcaraz joue très bien et lobe très bien... mais pourquoi les autres joueurs voleyent si mal ? 😮
    En effet j'ai l'impression que les joueurs de tennis actuels, surtout depuis une vingtaine d'années, ne savent plus voleyer, même quand c'est facile ! Même Federer ne voleyait pas aussi bien que ça ou rarement... 🤔
    Si McEnroe à son apogée était là, par exemple, je pense qu'Alcaraz ne pourrait pas réussir aussi bien ses lobs car il ne pourrait quasiment jamais en faire puisque c'est McEnroe qui remporterait le point à la volée 9 fois sur 10... ou en faisant des smashs gagnants ! 🙂
