That could possibly take Resident Evil 4's place once I play it. I think Dark Souls III and Returnal were the biggest robberies at the game awards. How those 2 games weren't even nominated low-key blows my mind.
My favorite video games from 2014 to 2023 10. Sunset OVERDRIVE 9. The Witcher 3 8. Dark Souls 3 7. Prey or Cuphead ( I couldn't choose lol ) 6. Red Dead Redemption 2 5. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice 4. DOOM ETERNAL 3. Hades 2. Elden Ring 1. RE4 remake I bought Baldur's Gate 3 recently so I haven't had enough time with it but it's fun so far!
@@iabuseartemis I understand why Baldur's Gate 3 won even not have played it at the time. I don't really care about the awards tbh just the announcements/gameplay for games already announced.
My ranking of my personal game of the years 1. Baldur's Gate 3 2. God Of War: Ragnarok 3. Deathloop 4. The Last Of Us Part 2 5. Red Dead Redemption 2 6. Super Mario Odyssey 7. Inside 8. Metal Gear Solid V 9. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice 10. Bayonetta 2
My favorite games: 2014. Dark Souls 2 2015. Bloodborne (by far) 2016. Dark Souls 3 2017. Hollow Knight 2018. God of War 2019. Sekiro 2020. Ghost of Tsushima 2021. Resident Evil Village 2022. Elden Ring 2023. Tears of the Kingdom
Before I share mine. There are a few things worth noting. I haven’t played enough of certain games to include them. The main ones being Elden Ring and Witcher 3. My top 10 (for today): 10. (2022) Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope 9. (2023) Hogwarts Legacy 8. (2014) South Park: The Stick of Truth 7. (2018) Return of the Obra Dinn 6. (2020) Moving Out 5. (2015) Bloodborne 4. (2021) It Takes Two 3. (2017) Hollow Knight 2. (2019) Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice 1. (2016) Persona 5
Great list dude! I personally agree with most of your choices, except Cyberpunk 2077 would be on my list (warts and all), and the Witcher 3 would be much higher on my list. Note to self: put Persona Royal on your bucket list. Oh and my #1 GOTY would unquestionably be the greatest RPG video game ever created, Baldur’s Gate 3. 😄
Super Smash Bros is one of the most meaningful games to me. Every single character reveal trailer for Ultimate had me screaming! The DLC has to be the best fighting game DLC ever. Starting the Fighter Pass with Joker, opening up endless possibilities, and ending it with the most requested character ever, Sora, was a perfect send off to Ultimate’s DLC. No other gaming franchise brings people together quite like Smash Bros
2014-This War of Mine 2015-Bloodborne 2016Uncharted 4 2017 Cuphead? 2018 Spider man(haven’t played RDR2) 2019 Sekiro 2020 Dreams 2021 Returnal 2022 GoW Ragnarok 2023 Ghostrunner 2 From worst to best 10.Cuphead(most unsure GoTY) 9. This War of Mine 8. Spider man 7. Ghostrunner 2 6.Uncharted 4 5. Returnal 4. God of War Ragnarok 3. Sekiro 2. Dreams 1. Bloodborne Dreams is maybe the greatest achievement of service games, but it cannot beat how Bloodborne shaped my life. TBH, any game from top 5 is just perfect, it was really hard to choose places
Good video, shark!! 2013. The Last of Us 2014. DKC Tropical Freeze 2015. MGSV 2016. DOOM 2017. Nier Automata 2018. God of War 2019. Sekiro 2020. Last of Us II 2021. Metroid Dread 2022. Elden Ring 2023. Tears of the Kingdom

Thank you for your list, Shark! I play SSBU and practice competitive with my community for a year now. Really happy to see smash on top. It's my most played game this year too. The best games I enjoyed this year was P5R, Hogwarts legacy, TOTK and Sony spiderman 2. Just started BG3 because of GOTY. Not exactly my type but I enjoy how detailed it is.
Great video. Dropping my own here for fun. 10. Alien Isolation (2014) 9. XCOM 2 (2016) 8. Disco Elysium (2021) 7. Into the Breach (2018) 6. Baba is You (2020) 5. Street Fighter 6 (2023) 4. Elden Ring (2022) 3. Resident Evil 2 (2019) 2. Slay the Spire (2017) 1. Yakuza 0 (2015)

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017) 2. Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018) 1. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (2015) Bear in mind I haven't yet played the likes of Elden Ring, Bloodborne, RE 2 and 4, Persona 5, GOW Ragnorak, Stray, Marvel's Spiderman 2, so many more. I didn't like what I played of Baldur's Gate 3, it's not my usual game.
My list 2014: Middle earth - Shadow of Mordor 2015: Witcher 3 2016: Uncharted 4 2017: Horizon Zero Dawn 2018: Red dead redemption 2 2019: Sekiro 2020: Last of us part 2 (Ghost of Tsushima a close second) 2021: Resident Evil Village 2022: Elden Ring 2023: Resident Evil 4 (May change once I play baldur's gate 3) 2024: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (So far)
10. 2016 The last Guardian 9. 2019 Prey 8. 2023 re4 remake(I haven't played BG3) 7. 2021 Knockout City 6. 2018 Crosscode 5. 2022 Elden Ring 4. 2015 Bloodborne 3. 2014 Alien Isolation 2. 2017 Persona 5 1. 2020 Doom Eternal I would have put CTR Nitro Fueled (2019) at my number 3 spot but given it was a 1 to 1 remake with bonuses I chose not to.
2014-Watch Dogs 2015- The Witcher 3 2016- Black Ops 3 2017- Resident Evil 7 2018-Red Dead Redemption 2 2019- Resident Evil 2 Remake 2020- Cyberpunk 2077 2021- Mass Effect Legendary Edition 2022- Elden Ring 2023- Resident Evil 4 Remake If I could just repeat The Witcher 3 I would I have 1,800 hours on that alone.
NGL, Shark, my favorite game from the last 10 years is Deus Ex Mankind Divided. I know it's not the best game, but I love me some immersive sims, and I'm a Deus Ex fanboy.
Nice list, looking forward to eventually getting to psychonauts 2. Still got a few good games that would contend for this list like nier automata, Sekiro, Ragnarock, Tears of the kingdom, but as is Heres my list. 2014-Dark Souls 2 2015-Witcher 3 2016-Dark Souls 3 2017-Persona 5 2018-Monster Hunter World 2019-Fire Emblem Three houses 2020-Doom Eternal 2021-Monster Hunter Rise 2022-Elden Ring 2023-Baldur's gate 3 If we were including remakes, Re2 and 4 would be strong contenders
My list from 2013 to 2022 (haven't played enough games from this year yet): #10: Alien: Isolation (2014) #9: Doom Eternal (2020) #8: Bioshock Infinite (2013) #7: Inscryption (2021) #6: Death Stranding (2019) #5: Persona 5 (2016) #4: Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018) #3: Hollow Knight (2017) #2: Elden Ring (2022) #1: Bloodborne (2015)

I think all things considered you list is a very strong list, I have disagreements but your list (unlike the Game Awards) was made by someone who actually played these games. I'm very glad to see Like a Dragon 7 acknowledged, I fully anticipate 8 to be my GoTY for 2024 especially with all that has been shown off. This aside, as someone who plays Smash Ultimate competitively I honestly wouldn't give it the 2018 GoTY, personally I would give that to Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Probably my favorite RPG of all time, combining deep role-playing of older games with all the benefits of modern games it has kept entertained even now. Obviously I have played Smash Ultimate more, but if we are looking purely at enjoyment my 300+ hours in KC:D are far more valuable to me than my 1000+ in Smash Ultimate.
Shark. Really neat video, the only year I agreed with was 2018 which I'm glad to see at number 1 but that's ok, having different opinions on this kind of thing is fine and I'm always really interested in seeing what game is everyone else's GOTY for a certain year and especially in large numbers as it helps me see what kind of person/gamer others are. All that being said here's my GOTY from the last ten years ranked. 10. Undertale (2015) 9. Doom (2016) 8. Resident Evil 4 Remake (2023) 7. The Last of Us (2013), I have this here instead of a game from 2022 because I actually didn't play any new games that came out in 2022, none of them really piqued my interest tbh. 6. Hades (2020) 5. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (2014) 4. Deathloop (2021) 3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (2018) 2. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017) 1. Resident Evil 2 Remake (2019)
For me: 10.) Metal Gear Solid 5 (2015) 09.) Uncharted 4 (2016) 08.) Resident Evil 7 (2017) 07.) God of War: Ragnarök (2022) 06.) Hitman 3 (2021) 05.) God of War (2018) 04.) Resident Evil 2 (2019) 03.) Alien: Isolation (2014) 02.) The Last of Us Part 2 (2020) 01.) Resident Evil 4 (2023)
For me the best games of the decade in no particular order (because each of them are splendid) are : A) The GOW reboot games - some of the best combat gaming can offer B) The Witcher 3 - need i say something here? C) MGS5 - almost a generational masterpiece if it didnt have the known production problems D) Ghost of Tsushima - Flawless game E) Dead space remake - probably the best survival game i played F) Has to go to Alien Isolation which probably has the most revoltionary AI in a horror game (not praised enough) G) AC Odyssey which is very underrated and has many flaws but there is something special about this one And one more so i dont go until Z I will give the last spot to Shadow of Mordor for coming out of nowhere and blowing our minds
I was watching the entire list thinkinf what could possibly be #1 after all that?!? Yeah thats fair 😂 i can see why that would be someone's #1 all day great list again great content
I'm just going to give my GOTYs in Chrono order. Apologies that this is going to be the Fromsoft show. 2014: Dark Souls 2 2015: Bloodborne 2016: Witcher 3 2017: Breath of the Wild 2018: Return of the Obra Dinn 2019: Outer Wilds 2020: The Last of Us 2 2021: It Takes Two 2022: Elden Ring 2023: Lies of P Take away: damn 2019 was fire. Sekiro, Disco Elysium, AND Outer Wilds. Then overall ranking of those 10 10) Last of Us 2 9) Dark Souls 2 8) It Takes Two 7) Lies of P 6) Witcher 3 5) Return of the Obra Dinn 4) Elden Ring 3) Breath of the Wild 2) Bloodborne 1) Outer Wilds
My List: My list is 1. 2019: Fire Emblem: Three Houses 2. 2018: Marvel's Spider-Man 3. 2021: Hitman 3 4. 2022: Pokémon Legends Arceus 5. 2020: Yes, Your Grace 6. 2016: Titanfall 2 7. 2017: Horizon: Zero Dawn 8. 2023: Hogwarts Legacy 9. 2015: Rocket League 10. 2014: Infamous: Second Son
I’m just gonna include 2013 too bc thats when I started branching out from just Cod and gta. 1. Elden Ring (2022) The greatest video game ever made. 2. Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018) I wanted to give it to Smash so bad and technically I’ve played it more, but that Rdr2 story was just something special. Fun fact though, when Smash Ultimate released and the play time shows up on your account after 10 days, when the play time first showed up it said I had 150 hours played😂 now I did leave my switch on some when I wasn’t playing but still😂 3. Tears of the Kingdom (2023) 4. The last of us (2013) 5. The witcher 3 (2015) 6. Breath of the wild (2017) 7. Dark Souls 3 (2016) 8. Sekiro (2019) 9. Forza Horizon 5 (2021) 10. Ghost of Tsushima (2020) 11. Mario Kart 8 (2014)
ah you Again, sure i already know that elden ring top#1 on your list as your statement in other post honestly baldur gate 3 peak level of video games as you see how much peoples praises it
2014 - didn’t have one 2015 - The Witcher 3 (everything besides the combat is essentially perfection) 2016 - Uncharted 4 (Overwatch winning was pure robbery) 2017 - Persona 5 (BOTW was extremely overrated) 2018 - Red Dead Redemption 2 (GOW didn’t make me cry, so there’s that; GOW was phenomenal though) 2019 - Sekiro (greatest sword fighting in any sword game ever) 2020 - Hades (TLOU2 was ass) 2021 - Didn’t really play any (playing Deathloop now, and I played a bit of It Takes Two; from what I played of both, It Takes Two is super unique and charming) 2022 - God of War: Ragnarok (I only played 38 hrs of Elden Ring, but I just redownloaded it, so it might change, so don’t see this as solidified) 2023 - I only played RE4 Remake, and while that is a masterpiece, it is a Remake, and therefore I don’t have the right to give an opinion right now).
For me 2018 was between RDR2 and Kingdom come for Goty both blew me away. 2015 was between Bloodbourne and Witcher 3. Both hard choices. 2010 was hands down my favourite year for gaming with 2018 in second. My list would be number 1 RDR2 2018 number 2Witcher 3 2015 Number 3 Maxpayne 3 2012 number 4 RDR1 2010 number 5 Last of us 2013 number 6 Resident evil 4 2004 number 7 GTA4 2008 number 8 San Andreas 2004 number 9 Ghost of Tushimia 2020 number 10 Knights of the old republic 2003.
2014 Pokemon Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire 2015 Bloodborne 2016 Pokemon Sun and Moon 2017 Breath of the Wild (My All Time Favorite) 2018 Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War I can’t pick😅 2019 Devil May Cry 5 2020 Animal Crossing New Horizons 2021 Metroid Dread 2022 Elden Ring 2023 Tears of the Kingdom
As a longtime Fromsoft fan (demon's Souls vet) even I have to admit that Baldurs Gate 3 is the best game of the decade. I've never really cared for CRPG's before but holy hell is this game above and beyond what I was expecting.
Hello my man. I am topskylines, a fan of this channel and video game ranking videos overall. I am not sure if you remember me, but this is my name now, and I am back with TH-cam donations to my favorite youtubers. This time, I would like to ask if you have ever played either contra series or YS series. Do you like these games and if you are thinking about ever ranking them. Also do you think buying playstation portal worth it or just wait for a switch 2 or something insane like that ?
Hello, I remember you! Thank you very much it is greatly appreciated! So for Ys I have played the firdt 3 titles but that is it. Hoping one day I play more. As for Contra I have played most of them. I hope to do a ranking next year. The PS Portal is a joke. I hired engineers for it when I was with PS and I thought it was the dumbest thing there and I still think it. Stay away from it lol
@@TotallyTubularJonathan Wow, thanks for the info I will keep it mind. So what do you hate most about the portal, what Is its worst feature in your opinion ?
Whoopsie, I meant to respond to this. Apologies! The PS Portal seems like a redundant product for a small niche audience and I dont trust it to work. I can barely stream a ps3 game on my ps5 without it being laggy as hell. How am I supposed ot play a ps5 game LOL. And just to reconfirm I plan on ranking Contra games next year for the new game!
@TotallyTubularJonathan OH, thanks for responding. I must admit I have my worries about the portal, and I have heard a lot of bad stuff about it for sure. I was always playing on playstation since handheld games for most of my lifetime was not what I was looking for. Then I fell so in love with Nintendo switch, but I still feel like the hardware is outdated. So, I was hoping to get my hands on a more powerful handheld since switch 2 seems too far in the future right now. I just want to play some serious racing or fps games on a handheld, and I can only find Asus Rog Ally in my country for 800 euros, which it is 850 USD
I would rather make a list of the games I've had most fun with from every year. Seems easier. Also I have not played all games from every year. Some years I haven't even played any games from it so I might skip some. I have been probably gaming since the mid 90's but I'm gonna start at a random year. 2008: #1. Grand Theft Auto IV, #2. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, #3. Dead Space 2009: #1. Resident Evil 5, #2. Borderlands, #3. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, #4. Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City 2010: #1. Red Dead Reedmption, #2. StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty 2011: #1. Mortal Kombat, #2. Dead Space 2, #3. L.A. Noire, #4. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim 2012: #1. Max Payne 3, #2. Resident Evil 6, #3. Borderlands 2, #4. Hotline Miami 2013: #1. The Last of Us, #2. Grand Theft Auto V --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2014: #1. The Last of Us: Left Behind, #2. The Evil Within 2015: #1. Bloodborne, #2. Mad Max, #3. Mortal Kombat X, #4. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain 2016: I haven't played a game from that year but if I had to pick I guess I'd choose: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End 2017: #1. Nier Automata, #2. Resident Evil 7 Biohazard 2018: #1. Red Dead Redemption 2 (although I don't like it as much as RDR1) 2019: #1. Resident Evil 2, #2. Mortal Kombat 11, #3. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, #4. Need for Speed Heat 2020: #1. The Last of Us Part II, #2. Resident Evil 3, #3. Mafia: Definitive Edition 2021: #1. Resident Evil Village, #2. Guardians of the Galaxy 2022: #1. The Callisto Protocol, #2. Arcade Paradise, #3. Need for Speed Unbound, #4. Signalis 2023: #1. Resident Evil 4, #2. Mortal Kombat 1 Well, I guess this was more for me than anyone else. Oh and Shark by the way.
Bloodborne is my favourite game of all time. I know the obvious complaint is the performance issues but besides that it is really a perfect game for me. Hollow Knight is a close second tho.
Thanks for the video, it was fun to watch, especially your non conventional picks. I haven't played even half of the games you put in, but now I'm definitely gonna give some of them a taste. I have Persona5 installed but haven't got around playing it yet - good time to try! My own list if I may be so bold: 11. 2021: Age of Empires 4 10. 2018: God of War 9. 2014: Divinity Original Sin 8. 2020: Ghost of Tsusima 7. 2019: Sekiro 6. 2015: Witcher 3 Wild Hunt 5. 2017: Nier: Automata 4. 2023: Baldur's Gate 3 3. 2013: The Last of Us 2. 2016: Dark Souls 3 1. 2022: Elden Ring Yep, I'm a souls fan.
It might sound stupid but my favourite game of the decade was Doom Eternal. Of course fps is my favourite genre though and i am a big fan of doom and quake in general
I really want to play y7. I've already started playing from Y0 and now I'm in Y2kiwami and even if I'm enjoying these a lot but I still just want to get to y7 but I probably shoukd just play in order

The combat and movement is a little wonky in the Witcher 3. I dropped it because of it the first time I tried it but I’m trying it again now and I’m really getting into it this time around! The combat still isn’t my favorite but the characters and dialogue is so so cool. Some of the best video game dialogue I’ve ever seen
SHARK! 🗣️ hey man I just wanted to say that I just stumbled onto your page the other day and I just wanna say that I really enjoy the content and hope you keep it comin I wish you success in the TH-cam gaming space

Hmmm yakuza lad i gotta say the game is fine the things i really do not like though are the plotholes with kiryu which are way more obvious after you played gaiden. That nanba basically destroys the great wall to find his bro putting his bro, himself and many others in danger AND joining bleach japan to do it only to then get a pat on the back like "it can happen to everyone" The fact that the story only exists because of a coincidence and that the character that is mirrorface only exists for 2 chapters for a cheap plottwist at the end. And don't make me start with the insane unbalanced EXP grind. They even knew it was unbalanced which is why the introduced the Sotenbori arena late game. I really do not like these parts. I gave the game a 5/10 not bad but compared to other yakuza games it's ehhh not good. (I know unpopular opinion) I do not mind if anyone likes the game, i am happy for those who did but i am just dissapointed with alot of things in this one.
it is really disheartening to see how much tik tok and social media users are so repulsed by baldurs gate 3 winning game of the year and downplaying it so damn much. Luckily they are just an extremely vocal minority in the grand scheme of the gaming community, just the younger and more main stream players.
Very nice ranking :D here's mine :D

@@iabuseartemis I understand why Baldur's Gate 3 won even not have played it at the time. I don't really care about the awards tbh just the announcements/gameplay for games already announced.

My list:
2014) idk

2016) uncharted 4
2017) idk

Elden Ring is indeed the game of the decade
I’ll do mine real quick lol

Super Smash Bros is one of the most meaningful games to me. Every single character reveal trailer for Ultimate had me screaming! The DLC has to be the best fighting game DLC ever. Starting the Fighter Pass with Joker, opening up endless possibilities, and ending it with the most requested character ever, Sora, was a perfect send off to Ultimate’s DLC. No other gaming franchise brings people together quite like Smash Bros
2014-This War of Mine
2015-Bloodborne
2016Uncharted 4
2017 Cuphead?
2018 Spider man(haven’t played RDR2)

7. Ghostrunner 2
6.Uncharted 4
5. Returnal
4. God of War Ragnarok

Dreams is maybe the greatest achievement of service games, but it cannot beat how Bloodborne shaped my life.
TBH, any game from top 5 is just perfect, it was really hard to choose places
Actually, if I want to have joke winner from 2014, I would choose I am Bread instead of South Park XD
Good video, shark!!

NGL, Shark, my favorite game from the last 10 years is Deus Ex Mankind Divided. I know it's not the best game, but I love me some immersive sims, and I'm a Deus Ex fanboy.
You sir, are a man of culture when it comes to games

1. Mario Odyssey
My list:
10- God Of War (2018)
9- Ghost of Tsushima (2020)
8- Returnal (2021)
7- RE7 (2017)
6- RE4 (2023)
5- Elden Ring (2022)
4- Dark Souls 3 (2016)
3- Bloodborne (2015)
2- Destiny 1 (2014)
1- Sekiro (2019)
10. Undertale (2015)
9. Doom (2016)
8. Resident Evil 4 Remake (2023)
7. The Last of Us (2013), I have this here instead of a game from 2022 because I actually didn't play any new games that came out in 2022, none of them really piqued my interest tbh.
6. Hades (2020)
5. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (2014)
4. Deathloop (2021)
3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (2018)
2. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017)
1. Resident Evil 2 Remake (2019)
This channel is such a oasis to me
For me:
10.) Metal Gear Solid 5 (2015)
09.) Uncharted 4 (2016)
08.) Resident Evil 7 (2017)
07.) God of War: Ragnarök (2022)
06.) Hitman 3 (2021)

03.) Alien: Isolation (2014)
02.) The Last of Us Part 2 (2020)
01.) Resident Evil 4 (2023)
Love these personal lists! Shark ;)
For me the best games of the decade in no particular order (because each of them are splendid) are :
A) The GOW reboot games - some of the best combat gaming can offer
B) The Witcher 3 - need i say something here?
C) MGS5 - almost a generational masterpiece if it didnt have the known production problems
D) Ghost of Tsushima - Flawless game
E) Dead space remake - probably the best survival game i played
F) Has to go to Alien Isolation which probably has the most revoltionary AI in a horror game (not praised enough)
G) AC Odyssey which is very underrated and has many flaws but there is something special about this one
And one more so i dont go until Z
I will give the last spot to Shadow of Mordor for coming out of nowhere and blowing our minds
Shark. Great video man!
Love these videos man
I was watching the entire list thinkinf what could possibly be #1 after all that?!? Yeah thats fair 😂 i can see why that would be someone's #1 all day great list again great content

Fun fact though, when Smash Ultimate released and the play time shows up on your account after 10 days, when the play time first showed up it said I had 150 hours played😂 now I did leave my switch on some when I wasn’t playing but still😂
3. Tears of the Kingdom (2023)
4. The last of us (2013)
5. The witcher 3 (2015)
6. Breath of the wild (2017)
7. Dark Souls 3 (2016)
8. Sekiro (2019)
9. Forza Horizon 5 (2021)
10. Ghost of Tsushima (2020)
11. Mario Kart 8 (2014)
ah you Again, sure i already know that elden ring top#1 on your list as your statement in other post
honestly baldur gate 3 peak level of video games as you see how much peoples praises it
@@mikeloan cool?
2014 - didn’t have one
2015 - The Witcher 3 (everything besides the combat is essentially perfection)
2016 - Uncharted 4 (Overwatch winning was pure robbery)
2017 - Persona 5 (BOTW was extremely overrated)
2018 - Red Dead Redemption 2 (GOW didn’t make me cry, so there’s that; GOW was phenomenal though)
2019 - Sekiro (greatest sword fighting in any sword game ever)
2020 - Hades (TLOU2 was ass)
2021 - Didn’t really play any (playing Deathloop now, and I played a bit of It Takes Two; from what I played of both, It Takes Two is super unique and charming)
2022 - God of War: Ragnarok (I only played 38 hrs of Elden Ring, but I just redownloaded it, so it might change, so don’t see this as solidified)
2023 - I only played RE4 Remake, and while that is a masterpiece, it is a Remake, and therefore I don’t have the right to give an opinion right now).
Psychonauts 2 made the list ! Yahooo
Shark, Dying light changed the way I look at video games as a whole. Huge fan btw I can’t wait for the next one
Love both of those games!
For me 2018 was between RDR2 and Kingdom come for Goty both blew me away. 2015 was between Bloodbourne and Witcher 3. Both hard choices. 2010 was hands down my favourite year for gaming with 2018 in second.
My list would be
number 1 RDR2 2018
number 2Witcher 3 2015
Number 3 Maxpayne 3 2012
number 4 RDR1 2010
number 5 Last of us 2013

number 7 GTA4 2008
number 8 San Andreas 2004

Every year in gaming ouf. Make it happen
2014 Pokemon Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire
2015 Bloodborne
2016 Pokemon Sun and Moon
2017 Breath of the Wild (My All Time Favorite)
2018 Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War I can’t pick😅
2019 Devil May Cry 5
2020 Animal Crossing New Horizons
2021 Metroid Dread
2022 Elden Ring
2023 Tears of the Kingdom
Good video bro
Do a list of ur top 10 game studios
I would rather make a list of the games I've had most fun with from every year. Seems easier. Also I have not played all games from every year. Some years I haven't even played any games from it so I might skip some. I have been probably gaming since the mid 90's but I'm gonna start at a random year.
2008: #1. Grand Theft Auto IV, #2. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, #3. Dead Space

Well, I guess this was more for me than anyone else.

The combat and movement is a little wonky in the Witcher 3. I dropped it because of it the first time I tried it but I’m trying it again now and I’m really getting into it this time around! The combat still isn’t my favorite but the characters and dialogue is so so cool. Some of the best video game dialogue I’ve ever seen
they improved the combat immensely on the next gen upgrade, imo best state to try the game is rn. hooe you enjoy, if you got any questions hit me up
@@educampsrocks it definitely feels better than I remember it feeling before, which was probably 2018/2019. Super immersive world. thanks!
Undertale was a beautiful experience. It'll probably always be my #1 undertale more like SHARK tale
SHARK! 🗣️ hey man I just wanted to say that I just stumbled onto your page the other day and I just wanna say that I really enjoy the content and hope you keep it comin I wish you success in the TH-cam gaming space
I love how you expanded playing smash to be with a homeless guy and goldfish hahaha
Witcher 3 combat is fantastic and the best game of all time imo
Why is Arthur Morgan and Abby in the thumbnail if rdr2 and tlou2 aren’t even on the list

Top 3 games of each generation.
I'm not the only one who thinks SSBU was game of the year
Baldur when 2 of his gates are broken
BG3 over Elden Ring? Thats crazy.
Not really, two of the best games of all time, choosing between them is only a question of personal taste
Shark shark
I disagreed with a lot, mainly because because breath of the wild is my favourite game I have ever played
BG3 over Persona 5 is crazy
Literally bulders gate 3 has a sex scene between an elf man and a bear 😭😭😭
Yeah I'm here to dunk on your list 👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿
TH-cam recommends me to respond with "Have fun"
Understandable, have a shark-tastic day@@TotallyTubularJonathan
2014 was a meh year for games, but I totally forgot South Park came out that year so I finally found my GOTY for 2014 😅
Hmmm yakuza lad i gotta say the game is fine the things i really do not like though are the plotholes with kiryu which are way more obvious after you played gaiden.
That nanba basically destroys the great wall to find his bro putting his bro, himself and many others in danger AND joining bleach japan to do it only to then get a pat on the back like "it can happen to everyone"
The fact that the story only exists because of a coincidence and that the character that is mirrorface only exists for 2 chapters for a cheap plottwist at the end.
And don't make me start with the insane unbalanced EXP grind.
They even knew it was unbalanced which is why the introduced the Sotenbori arena late game.
I really do not like these parts.
I gave the game a 5/10 not bad but compared to other yakuza games it's ehhh not good.
(I know unpopular opinion)
I do not mind if anyone likes the game, i am happy for those who did but i am just dissapointed with alot of things in this one.

Elden Ring over Sekiro is crazy
Crazy on point, sure. As he rightly said, it's the best FS game. By far.
Sorry but Bloodborne should be 2015 top possible game of the year
In my humble opinion
it is really disheartening to see how much tik tok and social media users are so repulsed by baldurs gate 3 winning game of the year and downplaying it so damn much. Luckily they are just an extremely vocal minority in the grand scheme of the gaming community, just the younger and more main stream players.
Cuz most Tik Tokers are normies who hate turn-based games and strategic games. They like action stuff like Spider-Man, GTA, God of War, and Fortnite.
