The musician also shares why she 'instantly regretted' filing for divorce from her husband, Jay Barker, and gives an inside look at their life together two years after reconciling. Plus, Sara opens up about her new single, 'Pride,' off her upcoming album 'Unbroke,' which is out June 7.
I have heard people say that when times are tough in your marriage, never say the word divorce. I am glad you are together.
I love her and love that. I'd say she's blessed for her kids but also for a man that is willing to put in work but also stay madly in love with her. That is beyond rate this day.
She sounds like me. My mom fell with me twice and I fell in an open sewer when I was 3 almost drowned. Inwas in a bus accident when I was 5 going to Brownie camp. 7 car accidents. In a hurricane Ian jumped in a lake to escape it. A huge tree branch fell on my mobile home recently. I hear her. That is awesome they got back together. My best friend divorced me . He remarried . My story isn't like hers but it still gives me hope. Thanks Sara. Sara and Lauren Graham look similar. Beautiful women

Thankful sounds like you both were able to choose to allow God to restore and reconcile.
Hoping you do not minimize that abuse was real and every woman or man must choose to be safe and protect their children from harm. You don’t have to regret filing for divorce to keep you all safe. This could make some think they have to stay in the abusive situation. Of course, with God all things are possible and God always is for unity. Each person has a freewill, and some spouses do not choose to get the necessary help to have a safe and healthy marriage and family.
Praying you use your experience and voice to speak Truth and minister to others.
