BTS swept the awards, thus closed the award show, though many other artists did indeed perform beforehand. The cost of the production for BTS entertainment company BigHit, was over 500K dollars, and all the in-house production team of BigHit started planning it over half a yr beforehand! Also most of the rehearsal time that BTS had, was while they were touring worldwide. But they all were quite into doing this, and somehow managed to fit in the rehearsal like they did the yr before. The only one who performed live only, without benefit of VCR being shown, for the broadcasted version, was Jimin, who shows here being the phenomenal, outstanding, ever so breathtakingly amazing professional dancer he is, which he was even before joining BTS. His performance was beyond mesmerizing, so poised & elegant of a dancer. With the exception of Jimin, all the other solo performances were prerecorded live, with smaller audience the day before, since there was no way to have these stage sets and tank pool of water let alone have JK who was performing the dance in water get dried and change clothes beforehand! Although, all the members performed a live version of their solo dance, for the live audience, while the VCR was playing the prerecorded version that the broadcast, & or online audience saw. Also certain songs like Mikrokosmos were performed live beforehand, as well, so they could also allow for the special effects that only people who saw the broadcast on TV in South Korea or had it stream worldwide could see that version. Also the part with the live horses was filmed beforehand without an audience.
15:05 These boys here are part of the group Tomorrow x Together (TxT), which has 5 members. They are part of the same company as BTS, being very young, born between 1997 and 2002. The curious fact is that they were the second group that Big Hit debuted years after BTS, in 2018, if I'm not mistaken. They are considered by BTS to be their little brothers, and TxT considers them older brothers with more experience and advice for them.

So much respect for them. They told to come to award show, ok, now also perform, ok, but they go basically do a concert for free for everyone 💜 And their performances and concerts are full out full production, value unmatched. They deserve everything for their hard work and like you said, positivity. They have given Army and the world just POSITIVE entertainment which the world badly needed.
❣️Jimin was the only one who performed live only, without benefit of the prerecorded VCR being shown, like for other BTS members, for the broadcasted version. Jimin's solo performance, wearing a modernized hanbok just fastened by ties only, had many different dance elements in it! Including the barrel leaps taken from Korean dance elements, some martial arts elements, (trained for 8 yrs in various forms w/blackbelt in Taekwondo), & of course contemporary dance. Also, equally ever so stunningly outstanding, was Jimin's scarf work, which is alone so hard to master, without getting that ever so thin veil of a scarf all tangled! Jimin somehow was able to make the scarf one with himself, using it as an extension, even at one point when he did that amazing jump leap straight up the scarf becoming his wings!! Jimin's whole performance was so amazingly stunningly beautiful. Just so effortlessly breathtakingly mesmerizing to see!!
They all performed live, just for broadcast they switched to prerecorded videos for aesthetic purposes. I saw their performances in black suits instead of white, so they didn't have to change outfits between intro and the song. Except Jimin, yeah, he had to rush to change.
Now, I wonder why you feel the need to stress this? Sure, give credit where credit is due. But this reminds me of when someone praises a team for winning and somebody has to insist that THEY are the one who scored more than the others. Why feel the need to show that one member did this over the other? Have you ever seen the members try to elevate themselves over the other? Can’t stand solo stans.

My all time fave performance- Dionysus. They almost lost their breaths due to the instense singing and choreo. I still gave goosebumps everytime i rewatch this.

BTS for me is the only i have seen that got me tired from watching yet fully satisfied i almost want to send some oxygen tanks to them cuz i know how hard to breath would be after every performance. when they say give 100% before the performance.. they eventually gave out 200% equally. amazing artists! one team 7 incredible artists! that is BTS
This is a historical performance BUT I would advise new reactors to listen to more of their discography first. That way you can hear the album version of the tracks and see what they are saying lyrically. You take pot luck with some live performances as the camera work isn't always the best and there isn't always captions. Some will ask you to react to what THEY want to see, not what YOU want to see! Also bear in mind you are watching music spanning 10 years so styles and lyrics etc change and grow as they mature as artists. I look forward to more song reactions.💜

You should watch the BTS Butter performance at the 2021 Grammy's. And remember when you are watching it, that they DID NOT win!!!! Hence why it's called the Scammy's. BTS has been nominated for two 2022 Grammy's but not holding my breath that the academy will actually give it to them. BTS isn't willing to wine and dine the academy to win. Hats off to BTS. An award that has to be bought really isn't worth much.

You should watch their performance on previous years too on MAMA and MMA. Start from MMA 2014 and MAMA 2014 until now. For MAMA, BTS didnt have solo stage on 2014-2015, but they have collab stage with other kpop group. For me, their best collaboration stage is in MAMA 2014 with Block B (Block B is senior group in kpop industry, they debut in 2011, while BTS is in 2013). Is one of legendary collaboration. You should check it out!!!!

So much respect for them. They told to come to award show, ok, now also perform, ok, but they go basically do a concert for free for everyone 💜 And their performances and concerts are full out full production, value unmatched. They deserve everything for their hard work and like you said, positivity. They have given Army and the world just POSITIVE entertainment which the world badly needed.
❣️Jimin was the only one who performed live only, without benefit of the prerecorded VCR being shown, like for other BTS members, for the broadcasted version. Jimin's solo performance, wearing a modernized hanbok just fastened by ties only, had many different dance elements in it! Including the barrel leaps taken from Korean dance elements, some martial arts elements, (trained for 8 yrs in various forms w/blackbelt in Taekwondo), & of course contemporary dance. Also, equally ever so stunningly outstanding, was Jimin's scarf work, which is alone so hard to master, without getting that ever so thin veil of a scarf all tangled! Jimin somehow was able to make the scarf one with himself, using it as an extension, even at one point when he did that amazing jump leap straight up the scarf becoming his wings!! Jimin's whole performance was so amazingly stunningly beautiful. Just so effortlessly breathtakingly mesmerizing to see!!
They all performed live, just for broadcast they switched to prerecorded videos for aesthetic purposes. I saw their performances in black suits instead of white, so they didn't have to change outfits between intro and the song. Except Jimin, yeah, he had to rush to change.

But this reminds me of when someone praises a team for winning and somebody has to insist that THEY are the one who scored more than the others. My all time fave performance- Dionysus. They almost lost their breaths due to the instense singing and choreo. I still gave goosebumps everytime i rewatch this.

It still boggles my mind that this was at an awards show. Nobody, but nobody, does it like BTS. BTS for me is the only i have seen that got me tired from watching yet fully satisfied i almost want to send some oxygen tanks to them cuz i know how hard to breath would be after every performance. when they say give 100% before the performance.. they eventually gave out 200% equally. amazing artists! one team 7 incredible artists! that is BTS

This is a historical performance BUT I would advise new reactors to listen to more of their discography first. That way you can hear the album version of the tracks and see what they are saying lyrically. You take pot luck with some live performances as the camera work isn't always the best and there isn't always captions. Some will ask you to react to what THEY want to see, not what YOU want to see!
Also bear in mind you are watching music spanning 10 years so styles and lyrics etc change and grow as they mature as artists. I look forward to more song reactions.💜

- the giant horn that get blow at the opening is represent Dionysus cup of wine that looks like a horn.it called Dionysus drinking horn
- the horses is represent a thracian horse that believe the best war horse that were herd by Thracian horseman tribe. That horseman tribe is worshipping Dionysus (Dionysus followers)
- the girls with a bucket of flower is represent Dionysus female followers called Maenad. They will follow n throw a flowers along the road when Dionysus going to travel, and when Dionysus held a party, Maenads will prepare for the wine n dancing. While Dionysus male followers called Satyr, who will play the music on the party
- the ivy staff that RM swing at the stage, it's represent Dionysus staff called Thyrsus. Is a staff tipped with a pinecone and twined with ivy.

If I’m correct I believe that in one of the years of BTS was performing the award show banded light sticks because there was a lot of army bombs and it was like only their group, turning into like their concert
You should watch the BTS Butter performance at the 2021 Grammy's. And remember when you are watching it, that they DID NOT win!!!! Hence why it's called the Scammy's. BTS has been nominated for two 2022 Grammy's but not holding my breath that the academy will actually give it to them. BTS isn't willing to wine and dine the academy to win. Hats off to BTS. An award that has to be bought really isn't worth much.

This will always be the best stage performance, imo. It helps to know a little about Greek mythology to understand the solo performances and who Dionysus was. The details and art that goes into what they do amazes me

The fact that when rm brought the staff down at the end of the solo stages to begin Dionysus … he missed the floor and whacked himself in the crotch but had to stand there like the professional that he is and not move 😂 that’s about as namjoon as it could be. You should watch their performance on previous years too on MAMA and MMA. Start from MMA 2014 and MAMA 2014 until now. For MAMA, BTS didnt have solo stage on 2014-2015, but they have collab stage with other kpop group. For me, their best collaboration stage is in MAMA 2014 with Block B (Block B is senior group in kpop industry, they debut in 2011, while BTS is in 2013). Is one of legendary collaboration. You should check it out!!!!
