It would be good to have an official bedrock version of Minecraft vr considering bedrock was designed to run on phones and quest 3 is basically an android phone
Am I the only one that’s getting really poor performance using this update, on Quest 3 no less? I’ve tried both playing through the QuestCraft launcher, and using QGO to up the processing power, but no matter, I’m getting sever frame hitching, and low frame rate. The side-loaded Minecraft on Oculus Go had way better performance than this back in the day, so why is everyone saying this version runs smooth when it’s dropping frames every 7 seconds.
except its not that simple, sideload needs the device in developer mode, only way to enable developer mode is jump through a thousand hoops with meta to create a developer organization and profile, and only after approval will they allow it. 99% of people are not going to spend hours jumping through all these hoops
Lol, John Carmack had this working in 2015, almost NINE YEARS AGO. Such unbelievable bs that it took this long for such a massively popular game! And it's only the Java version... wtf. It's like Microsoft wants to sabotage VR, ridiculous. This should have been a huge launch by the time of the original Quest!!!!
Minecraft has command line settings to enable VR from PC using the native program. And there's also Vivecraft from PC. They just never developed a standalone VR app. Maybe they will make more effort now with increasing popularity

For whatever reason on Quest 3 FPS is less than 50 and it occasionally freezes . Any ideas whats the issue ?

How do you keep the bobovr strap from sliding with your hair down? I've found that I have to do a really tight and low ponytail to keep it stable

Did you delete the old one you had then install the new one? I read that on their discord that you had to do that.
There was a bug which they fixed right away. If you uninstall and install again it will work

This was already working in Quest 2 and is not from Microsoft. This is just an update that includes Quest 3 support.

Java is better than bedrock though in my opinion. If it can run well then I’d much rather have Java edition, would be stupid to have 2 versions

It crashes immediately when clicking Sign In inside QuestCraft after signing into my Microsoft Account. Bummer
Weirdly enough it worked after going to the minecraft site and setting my username. Works well besides odd perf hiccups
