At 4:05 Reiner actually tries to share stories about the "devils" of Eldia but he can't. He only recounts Sasha eating too much. His family is shocked by the underwhelming "horror" stories of Eldia not the stories being scary.
That was my only issue with the video! I feel like it skimmed over how Reiner actually is torn between Eldia and Marley, and knows deep down they’re not so bad despite his previous indoctrination and facade he wears

It's crazy my own journey with this series. Got into the manga nearly from the beginning, read until just before what is now Season 2 Part 2, took years off, started again with the anime for Final Season Part 1. Just a crazy wild ride all around and I'm *really* glad to have rediscovered the series during this period in the story. Funnily enough, I started covering Attack on Titan on a whim, was never even planned for me but I did and now we're here. Also, one of my first ever videos was an Attack on Titan video.

This was well put together and not wordy in the slightest. It's about the length of an 1 episode yet smoothly covered all 16 episode. Instead of feeling like bullet point list for key plot points it felt like a short audio book. Kudos, I honestly feel ready to jump into part 2 now.

really liked the recap but one suggestion would be to work on the pronunciations of the names. Idk if you were basing it on the dubbed pronunciations but compared to the way they pronounce the names in the sub some were way off, like hange. still liked and appreciated the recap though!
Yeah it was super distracting that he pronounces MULTIPLE CHARACTERS names wrong. If it were just one that'd be one thing, but it's many. It's not even just characters. Paradis is not pronounced that way.
While I understand some people want the “tl;dr” versions of summaries, I really love when people delve deep into summaries and explanations because there will always be something I either didn’t notice or forgot. Heck, I watched a 5hr video essay about The Last of Us part 2 and it still wanted more. All this to say, I really appreciate the hard work and effort it takes to put out these videos, so thank you!

Gabby is not complex or gray. Shes a bigot playing a heel in pro wrestling terms. She says and does things that make her the most hated character. I see a conflict within her in part 2 of season 4- they may make her turn to babyface and she’ll become a good guy…i dont like this last season..I appreciate its complexities and subject matter but i feel it was handled poorly. That being said art in this form is complicated to make and being a perfectionist about it may lead to it being never finished- the way Berserk and Hunter x hunter was never finished
I just have a question. Marley wanted to get the founding titan, and claim the natural resources in Paradis. But they brainwashed Reiner, Bertholdt and everyone else that if they got the founding titan, they would be saving the world, right?

i've always found the Jagerists massive plan to be super confusing, especially in the context of Marley launching their counterattack, Pieck faking being a Jagerists to attack Eren, and the Eldians just trying to figure everything out.
my confusion about AOT got better thanks to that video. the last break made me forget a lot of the important information for the whole story. but I don`t think I get it in full. I Should completely watch from Season 1 again :D
