It honestly stresses me out watching you paint because I can never tell what you're doing at the beginning of each painting! I just watch in amazement as it all comes together at the end, really enjoyed this one :)

I’m a watercolor artist but I’m contemplating getting guache for quickie sketchbook paintings like this.
Gouache is very fun, I recommend a starter set from Winsor and newton and also Holbeins artists gouache which functions a bit more like watercolour.

this week has been rough for me but this video really cheered me up
I also hate waiting for paint to dry, which is why the best thing I ever got was a heat tool. I originally got it for heat embossed lettering, but I use it for painting more than anything else now. I can dry my paint in a minute and get on with the art instead of waiting for ages!
Thinking minimally is something I’m trying to incorporate more and more into my artwork, nothing has made me improve quite as tremendously as just making sure I’m in the moment and having fun. Your stream of thought artwork is very organic and gives a peak into what you’re enjoying at this moment 👌

Love the sense of fun and looseness of all these spreads! But of course my favs are the froggos, also the flowers on the right page of the first spread are so nice! Have you ever thought of investing in a hairdryer for drying paint? I have a teeny tiny one and it makes using wet media so much more tolerable!!!
I’ve toyed with the idea and I own one but I never want to get it out. I guess I like to punish myself !!!
