Dale gets angry whenever someone brings up his age because he’s for all intents and purposes, a failure at life. That’s the same reason he gets angry whenever someone mocks him about the age difference between him and his ex, when she confirmed it numerous times.
Dale is still in government-subsidized housing at 39 and failed to become an actor. He was too lazy to do actual work towards becoming an actor (e.g. networking and modeling) while he was younger and better looking, but that window is closed.
He also thinks lying about his age will let him have a chance with other young girls, not unlike Kani.
He really is the definition of pathetic. You know there's a lot of good looking actors who are over 40. I'm 36 and I am just starting an acting career. Well I am still in acting school.

he isnt even actually blue rank either. dude is bad at tekken. i have 2 accounts and my main account all 5 of my characters are fujin and bushin. jin, zafina and lee are bushin. and devil jin and kaz are fujin raijin. my youtube account is all mighty ruler with 90% win rate. dale can barely scrape passed purple rank. cuz rank is easy in t8, he is even able to get that high. in t7, he was hard stuck green and yellow, which is accurate.

Getting upset over or ashamed by your age really is pointless. Age isn't some title or accolade or anything that you can cling to longer than someone else. You don't get more than the max amount of time in any age bracket. If you're in your 30s, you lived in your 20s for the max amount of time. No one can live their 20s longer than you did. If some weirdo in their early 20s is making fun of an older person for their age, well, they'll get the same amount of time as that older person did, and their time will come too; time waits for no one.
So many people don’t even make it to 39, embrace that sh*t!! There are a lot of young dead people buried in the ground. Don’t get why he gets so triggered over his age.
