The hike was great, thank you. I used it hiking all over Hawaii and that anti-gravity design is great! It was so comfortable. Also, that side opening was so handy! And yes, my worry did subside, because I realized the pockets are cut with all the right angles to prevent things from sipping through! This backpack really does have a well thought out design. I can definitely fit a bear canister in my 50 liter pack, as well as a portable stove and all my camping needs. I hope that’s helpful! If you scroll down to Women’s Sizing, there is a chart that correlates the torso length with the pack size that would be most appropriate for you. I hope that’s helpful! 🙂
