You're awesome for making this video man. I took a spill and my handlebar bent in so that it actually hits the tank vent now, and you probably saved me a ton of headache and time with this vid. Thanks!
On the ride-it-forever they only came in two sizes; standard and short. I chose the standard, which are roughly 17cm, and are the same length as the stock levers. The finish was optional from the choices they had. I actually ordered the black levers with a silver adjuster originally, but they sent me ones with red. Not what I ordered, but I'm very happy with them regardless. I've been riding with them for a little over a week now and they feel and operate great!
Planning on getting the same levers for my bike as well, but was wonder how'd you find the fit and finish of ride-it-forever ones? Any play vertically?
EXzahyl Great vid! Thanx! would you recommend these bars for a 6' 4'' person? I have riden the bike and i reckon i can live with its standard bars, but do you think these risers will improve the strain on the wrists? Many thanks in advance for your answer!
If you're riding with the throttle completely open then it can strain your wrists, but I think that would happen with any bar. I haven't had any real issues with wrist strain on either the stock bars, or these bars. I have found that my lower back has less strain because of the more upright riding position, though. For your height it would depend on what you plan on doing. If you plan on just having a day to day, long distance bike then these bars could work for you. If you plan on going to track days, or flying down the highway the stock bars would be best, since you'll be spending more time in a tucked riding position.
I did check with monsterparts customer care about "Accossato Ducati Monster Aluminum Handleba" and got confirmed handle bars are not predrilled. how about your handle bar used in this video?
Great video!Thank you! Did you get that handlebar from Monsterparts? Could you please tell me if this bar in video is the "Higher Rise" model or the "Lower Rise" ??? Thanking you in advance! :)
Yes, I got them from Mosterparts. But, back when I ordered them there wasn't a "high" or "low" option. I would assume "high" though, since the bar does ride a little higher than the stock one. Might be safer to email them and ask.
@meetoo415 @meetoo415 Try Monsterparts com and go to the Bar and Mirrors tab and look for Accossato Ducati Monster Aluminum Handlebar. Make sure to ask whether or not there's a hole for the nub on the throttle assembly. If there's not you either need to drill a hole in the bars or sand down the nub. If you go with Rizoma bars you'll need to do that.

Still have them, zero issues. My riding position is a little higher, and doesn't cause me any discomfort. I like them.

Thanks for doing this video. It answered one of my questions in my head.

mine have a chrome finish, and had the holes predrilled as well, but this was back in 2011 so maybe it changed.
