  • This is round 12 of the 2007 Amp'd Mobile AMA Supercross Championship, and round 13 of the 2006/2007 Amp'd Mobile World Supercross GP from the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, IN.
Returning contenders like 2004 champ Chad Reed, defending World Supercross champ James Stewart, Travis Preston, Nick Wey, Ivan Tedesco, Michael Byrne, Tim Ferry, David Vuillemin, Nathan Ramsey, Grant Langston, Kevin Windham, and defending champ Ricky Carmichael battle it out for the 2007 Amp'd Mobile AMA Supercross Championship and the 2006/2007 Amp'd Mobile World Supercross GP. This is Ricky Carmichael's part-time season, and is dominated by James Stewart. Team Honda's Andrew Short returns to Supercross for 2007 aboard a 450cc 4-stroke after an injury sustained at the 2006 Steel City Outdoor National in the 250cc/MX Lites class. Watch as James Stewart comes from a near last place start to challenge Chad Reed for the win.
    Enjoy.

What a beastly performance from Stewart. Wow. With these old videos, we're just glad to have them, period. But it would sure be nice if the quality and clarity was better.

Well, what you see is what you get.
As a Chad Reed fan, this was a performance that hurt the most, but it was a helluva ride from James Stewart on another view.

    It was even better live.

Not going to argue there; I can imagine seeing races live are much better, but I just preferred watching on the TV.

    James the best

To me, it's Chad Reed, but at this time, saying that about James is undeniable, but 2 years later would be the beginning of the end.

If you're a Stewart fan, this was a dream race; if you're a Chad Reed fan (like myself), this was a tough one to swallow.

They describe Reed as gritty every. single. race. lmao

He's ridden through some pretty bad injuries -- shoulders, tweaked knees, etc. -- that's grit in itself there.

MathewV21688 I know and don’t disagree it’s just funny they say it every race and it’s always that specific word

@@messiona Yeah, and it's a way that riders like him won't be forgotten. I'm a die-hard Chad Reed fan and I still owe it to him for keeping me a fan of this sport today after 2003 when McGrath suddenly retired.

MathewV21688 Yeah now that Stewart, Reed, Villopoto and that era is done it’s hard for me to keep watching not gonna lie

@@messiona I feel the same way. Chad Reed is the only one of the 3 you mentioned who's still active today, but after this season, he's done. As much as I don't want the man to leave, I'd like to see him win one more time before it's over, but the chances of that happening are pretty slim.

I bet elly tells chad every weekend if james stuart and Rickey Carmichael weren't here sweetie you would be a champion....chad reed is always second best.....js#7 is the fastest man on the planet when he swings a leg over a bike...

Reed's certainly the GOAT in his family's status and certainly in my book. I won't disagree on Stewart being the fastest man on the planet, but after 2009, his decision making and all his on-track incidents had me calling him "the fastest IDIOT on the planet."
