I have a lot of favorites,but,a former roommate of mine told me while ago,when I were a lad,decades actually,how much he had enjoyed a bottle of Montepulciano,which started me on a voyage of discovery,changing from beer,liquor,& a certain herbaceous substance which is now legal,to wine being,as Thomas Jefferson said,necessary for my life.
