Not dumb at all. I have used all kinds of glitter it will not burn. Because you bake at such a low temp. Burning is not an issue or it hasn’t been for me at all.

Do love that color! Glitter is the herpes of the craft world gets everywhere however, under resin it does look amazing. Been looking into bio glitter the Good Glitter I just am not sure it will hold up over time on pieces? Might. That color looks amazing against your lovely skin tone. Nice job. Thanks for sharing. Very nice project. Because you skipped some steps I am a little confused as you how you put the glitter on. Did you just mix the glitter and lay it on the clay? Once you pressed it into the clay, does it stay in place while you cut the pieces???
Yes just press the glitter into the clay i usually run the roller over it and just press it in really good. It doesn't go any where. Watch my other glitter I may go into more detail. It's purple glitter...
Making sure your taking the resin all the way to the edge and just watching it and making sure before I leave them to set the resin is on the edges. Sometimes it does pull back 🤷🏾♀️ on a piece. You can sometimes fix it will sanding or sometimes you may have to re resin depending on piece. That’s why I pay close attention before so I can try to eliminate that as much as possible.
Ok so question about the resin because I noticed your resin also recedes from the sides a little. It pulls away from the sides. Mine always does that and I can’t find a solution how to stop the obvious frame of where the resin ends on my flat pieces. Unless this is just a thing? And everyone is ok with it ?
Yes it happens you have to kinda watch it I clean it up with sanding… there are some sprays that people say can help the ones I’ve tried have not helped me at all.

Any glitter since your oven temperature should be very low the glitter would not be affected.

Regular glitter no special kind!!!
The earrings are so gorgeous!!! Did you bake the pieces AFTER you applied and cured the resin with the UV light?
No the Clay was baked first and then the Clay was coated with resin. I don’t use UV resin on the top of my pieces only on the back on the post.

Do you prefer epoxy over uv resin?
Yes, I like UV for securing backs but Epoxy for top coats.
