I am new to polymer Clay earrings and came across your videos. I appreciate the time and effort you put into creating content for us. I know it takes a lot of time from preparing the tools and supplies to the recording and then editing process. It takes a lot of thoughtfulness to put content together and you do so effortlessly. Please keep your tutorials coming. There’s a lot of people who greatly value and appreciate it.
Thank you so much, it’s little comments like this that inspire us to keep going 🥰❤️ it is definitely a lot of work to keep it all going, but lucky we love what we do!
@@myclayco I aspire to have my own channel someday. Not the same type of channel as yours but I’m still scared. 😆 I hope I can do it sometime in the near future. Keep on doing what you’re doing!
@@emschrader418 don’t be scared! And remember you have to start somewhere - we still aren’t pro’s but our videos have improved A LOT since our first one 😂
Very interesting video!!! For how many minutes did you bake them and at what degrees? Is there the risk to ruin the bezels cause is metallic? Thank you!
Thanks! It’s polymer clay, most you bake for around 30 minutes and it’s baked at a low temp (normally around 130c) so not hot enough to effect that metal 😊
Pleasure! Yep, they’re Life of Colour pens, they don’t flood, which we love. You can find them on our website here 😊 www.myclayco.com.au/collections/paint-pens
We actually have a video on this coming out soon! A few of the things we do are: colour mix to make colours, use them for the base of slabs, incorporate them into marbelling, patch works slabs, beads … so many possibilities!
Hola! Gracias por los videos!! He aprendido mucho!!! Tengo una pregunta… ¿es necesario aplicar resina o algún otro producto después de usar los marcadores?
Thanks so much. Do you have a gloss finish that you favour other than resin? Also I don't have the proper name but do you have a tutorial on the connecting (bales?) that hang the pendants onto the chain or thong? Sorry I'm new to the whole craft thing and don't know the names yet. I think there's a way of making them from the clay itself as well. 😀
We normally use Sculpey or Cernit gloss glaze if we’re not using resin and want a gloss finish. It will not be shiny and domed like resin though, it will just be a thin coat of gloss but we love it because it’s easy to apply and doesn’t go sticky! We will have to add a tutorial on using bales to our list! I don’t think I’ve seen them made out of polymer clay so will have to look into that! Thanks for the suggestion 😊

These are great but if I might a bit of constructive criticism, your head shouldn't be in the frame. I know its a pain the butt but we can't get a good close up either. ❤
Thank you for the feedback! Yes, I do sometimes apologise for that issue! It is quite hard working back from the camera sometimes and some things require a little extra precision which is hard when you can’t see. I’ve tried filming from the side but then my hands block the view - if you have any suggestions we would love to hear them!

Great idea, I've got some bezels that I did not use with resin but might come up a treat with clay. Thanks.
Definitely give them a go!
The little circle onea wpuld make the cutest buttons!

Thank you so much for such a clear and in-depth tutorial. I tried using bezels today and failed spectacularly 😅 I have learnt so much for your guide ❤
You’re welcome! I hope it helps and your next try is a success 😊❤️
I have tried to use polymer clay with bezels before but it didn't work out so well, this video teached me a lot so thank you! ❤

Our pleasure! Yes, if you’re using paint pens you should seal them with either a glaze, varnish or resin 😊
Just realised you ship worldwide! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Haha yes we do!
Where did you buy the bezels and the sizes of them?. They are beautiful. Thanks

What kind of mask sure you using when applying uv resin? Like a surgical mask ?
We use a gas and vapour filter respirator mask 😊
Hi Ladies Do You Have To Resin The Back or Is That A Personal Preference 💕💕💕💕💕
We don’t resin the back so personal preference 😊
Thank You 💕💕
Excellent what size are the first set of earrings
They’re 20mm 😊
@@myclayco awesome!
Please help ! if I’m using acrylic paint, I have to paint after baking the clay ?
I assumed
You can use acrylic paint before or after baking. I normally use before if I’m using a silkscreen, or after if I’m painting details 😊
@@myclayco do you have a video on how to used the chain length guide please
@@patriciamalave3715we don’t, sorry!
It seems it would be hard to find cutters to fit exactly to the bezels.
It was! So we made (and sell) cutters to fit them 😊

It’s annoying to watch the video with the reflections of cars driving past. Record your videos in a quiet room with no windows.
Sorry you found our video annoying. We don’t quite have the budget for a full studio and lighting set up but will keep your suggestions in mind 😊
