I really enjoyed this auction compared to other auctions I've been to. The entire staff and people at the auction were extremely cool and the auction itself was done smooth and fair.
Hopefully next auction has more cars and trucks... 9/10

Hilarious one guy bid $500 on the firetruck but the auctioneer wouldn't go lower than $1000, he finally accepted the $500 bid and the price instantly jumped up to $3100

And the ford 250 too 5k, I'd remove the police stripes get some oem rims or something similar and sell it for 10k... not a lot of maintenance to do with that one being so new.

I watch the auctions here in Illinois and everything goes for crazy high prices with 200,000 miles and tons of rust. The prices at these auctions where rock bottom for great vehicles. The prices at these auctions is how much stuff would sell for with blown engines here because the body of these trucks are not all rusted out.
Same in Alberta, These are pennies on the dollar type prices right here. The scrap value alone is more than most paid

Not seeing any real special prices here compared to auctions I have normally dealt with. Thanks for the information. They all need something. The garbage truck though did look like it was a great deal but that's not something I'm familiar with so I don't bother with them. Thanks again 👍 for the information

It's not too bad of prices. I was seeing a lot of times you see these vehicles on car dealerships and I look at them as they are an old control vehicle. About 25 years ago. I know that you Pick them up for about $500 to a 1000.

dont municipal vehicles spend most of their lives idling endlessly all day sometimes 7 days a week - I would never buy a low mile vehicle that our campus gets rid of every year
Great deals there in FL man up here at auctions that stuff is at least twice that with rust. I stopped going years ago couldn't get any deals no money to be made at all

Unfortunately, city workers dont care, and to be honest, a lot of government vehicles might be low milage. Be holy moly, the idle time will help kill the engine

Omg the atv's for like 300$!! I've been looking for one, and they're all super expensive, even the clapped out ones. The 4x4 V8 Dakota for 1600$ God damn! I would take the ATV and put it in the bed of the Dakota, lol. With a bit of work, you can have something really nice. Also, i'm very surprised that most of the vehicles there starts right up! Obviously they need work, but still.
Just looked up on marketplace. Damn I didn’t know ATVs were that expensive. Next time I see an ATV I might have to buy. Thanks for the info.

I live in Ocala Florida I do the same thing u do been doing it for 5years from public auction all I buy is police interceptors and I'm on 4 different pubic auction sites but I don't say where cause then I have more people biding on same thing as me lol thanks for the videos

Here in north Georgia people go nuts at auctions. Prices were like that here in the early 2000’s. Now it’s retail plus for less than wholesale quality. That Dakota would have been at least $3500 here.

My area now does week long online auctions because of the lack of in person interest. That trash truck would have sold for a lot more to the right bidder.

At first they where shy and the lucky guys got the best deals but then prices started to surge and the people were pushing way above a good deal, they were like '' I don't won't to get back home with empty hands ''

As someone who works for a municipality please do not sit there thinking those allllll thosd vehicles are meticulously maintained...they are not. The trucks, yes very well maintained In my opinion. Literally every other vehicle...not so much.

@@LOSTAUTO Yup, that Tahoe is a Tank, but it has a Silverado front Bench seat and Dash. The Charger had some issues, like I had to replace a brake line. But generally a good deal if you need to cheap car and those Chargers are fun.
That garbage truck was sold for free. Why you didn't get it. Only in parts it's worth more than 10.000 $
They basically gave it away. I honestly didn’t buy it because I know nothing about them. Also it would have been more expensive to have it towed to my property over an hour away.

Why does the price go down, before going up here? Usually, bids only go up at auctions.
Since it’s like a government auction I might be wrong but I think the reason is since some of these are gov owned they don’t have a set goal the seller wants so they can go down or up
The auctioneer throws out a price to get a bid , if he doesn’t he will come down till he gets one and then work up
