The programming feels like something from the -90s. After several seasons I can recommend that you hold the "rotator" in one hand and operate the buttons with the other (you cannot let go until the full programming is complete, make sure you are comfortable!) Then I rotate the "rotator" one "click" clockwise at the time, make adjustments to the length and press save, or just press save to keep previous setting. Then repeat until you have dont this for the entire area. When clockwise is done, you have to do the same for counter-clockwise. This was one of the things I failed my first season and could not figure out why it didnt save my settings (when it turned clouter clockwise it was back to default). I made a spot where it always sits, and after I made the setting "good enough" I have not needed to change it for some years now. Batteries seem to last for two-three years depending on how often you use it. I try to water the lawn twice a week if it doesnt rain.
I have moved to a house with a much larger lawn, and havnt had use for the AquaContour this summer. But if I remember correct, you can lower it to 3-5dm or so.
How is the AquaContour powered?
It uses 4 type C/LR14
@@daviddjerf2856 Thank you good sir! I am thinking to buy it. Are you completely satisfied with the AquaContour?
Hallo, Gerät hab ich hier liegen, plane derzeit noch den passenden Einsatzort. Frage: Muss ich die Schraubverbindung mit Teflonband abdichten?
Hi! I only understand some words in german and I'm not sure the translation was correct. I only use original Gardena connections to the hose.
Nice setup. Do you have any advices concerning the programming of the Contour device. Greetings from Germany.
