- This is our version of Ultimate Adventure. We got to experience it after long build nights and a ton of work on a cheap S10. Thanks to you all who voted for us on this build and to OnX Offroad for the oppurtunity to represent them on UA. We went through some awesome states in the east and wheeled some of the hardest trails in the country while being weighed down with a weeks worth of camping gear!! Colt representing Rudy's Adventure &Design shirt is another proof why Bleepin Jeep is my favorite off road people. You guess represent your buddies even after they take a loss and you do it with grace. Great trail ride guys loved it.
Colt’s driving ability is superhuman. He walks the truck through seemingly impassible terrain.
He's by far my favorite off-roader lately. I really enjoy the methodical smart lines he takes!

Loving some colt. Seems to be at home in the lil’ blue truck. And that cheapo s-10 works pretty damn well. Keep goin colt!!! Matt doesn’t seem into it. Maybe cuz he isn’t driving, but colt earned the wheel
Colt was clearly the driver with the most finesse. Strong work on both the build and the driving.

Colt has undeniably proven that he can build an exceptionally capable UA truck and his driving skills are off the charts. Really enjoyed watching all the videos chronicling the entire build, the OnX competition and the UA event.
Looking forward to see what Colt gets involved with next.
So glad yall won the Onyx challenge! In my opinion ya did so with class as well and yall definitely wouldn't of been whining about it on camera if you didn't win. It was super awesome to see Colt live a 20 year dream and he definitely built one cool "every-mans" rig. Congratulations again yall! BJ is definitely one of the most fun and relatable off road channels on YT! 🍻
I think the problem there is OnX didn't accurately explain the nature of the challenge. Severe body damage wasn't just part of the challenge it's part of the Ultimate Offroad Adventure. Colt had the best grasp of what this event is about.
There's guys that have been running the ultimate adventure for years and never had a scratch

I don't blame them I blame onx off road, Rad Rudy thought it was going to be the Onx off road off road challenge when it was the Onx off road "challenge" Rudy thought it was going to be like Easter jeep safari he didn't help his cause with that spawning salmon paint job though

This is one of my all-time favorite builds. Colt's driving skill + the weight and dimensions of this S-10 = one fantastic trail machine.
S-10 looked like you killed it. Great job! I love when people like us take our low buck, built yourself then mash big buck team builds. Keep the builds coming.

I have wheeled with Senator Menard he is a fantastic advocate for the off-road community. We need more like him.
Colt is a BOSS only he would build a budget S10 and walk the dog on UE !!! Some of those other rigs have more than 5 times as much and he made it look EASY !!!

I have a stock Jeep and an RC crawler so I’m no expert… but I love watching you wheel. Smart lines calm and calculated. No whiskey throttle and tear up! It’s truly inspiring.

The air in the cave is cold and dense, the air outside is hot. The temperature difference causes the cold air to rush to the hot

Off-roading in Pennsylvania is my favorite would have been great to follow along in the group too much damn Poison ivy and Virginia creeper though definitely going to go a lot of AOAA fall trips

Great video summary of the experience. The S10 worked really awesome. Colt made some of the obstacles look easy and picked the best line for most. I am sure there will be a follow up video of the issues and subsequent repairs.

I've thought for a while and now know that Colt is an amazing driver! He for sure is possibly one of the best off road there is!!! That but can somehow see the line that works and can control just about anything he touches. Not only can he invision the impossible routes in his head, but can grab the wheel of must anything and be at one with the machine and know how to get it to work for him!
Really showcases two different driving styles... The slow and technical driver who relies on their driving skill to get through obstacles and the drivers to rely on the skinny pedal and the (hopeful) strength of their vehicle parts. Colt is a VERY good driver... Though as I type this, he's got a nasty dent in the passenger door. LOL
Not gonna lie, i was rooting for one of the other teams, but im glad to see you two made it to UA seems like you guys are having a blast. Rock run's not new exactly, theyve been around for maybe a decade? I was out there in like.. 2018 or something. They are mroe known for sxs in my experience, but theyve got plenty of full size trails. Pretty cool that UA decided to feature them.
Great showcase of rig capability and driver skill. Hopefully you get invited next year.

So glad you guys got to go this year. Also want to point out this footage is better than what motortrend put out the last 3 years of UA combined.
The S10 is one well designed, well built rig. With Colt behind the wheel it is unstoppable.

What a cool event. So glad you guys got to go. Colt, you proved the S-10 was worthy for sure. A budget build on leaf springs and it’s awesome. I love it more every time I see it and am truly impressed by its performance on some pretty gnarly terrain and you did a great job driving, again! Don’t know what your plans are for the truck but I hope you keep it and give us more videos of you wheeling it. Btw, I wouldn’t fix the dents. Hand paint UA2023 on them and keep them as a badge of honor. 😉
Last time I went off-roading in Pennsylvania, I ended up in some place called "Gettysburg," and apparently, people get upset when you are off-road there.
Nice driving you all , I like the blue chev and what it says on the dash ( remember you have to drive this home ) my son has a jeep and he needs one of those LOL.. We are from Michigan and we go to Bundy hill offroad there hills aren't that big but he have a lot fun . That green van is pretty crazy !!!
Dude! What is it about that s10 or colt’s driving. Everything looks easy. Definitely figured out some secret sauce with this build.
I’ve been wheeling at rock run for about 12 years. That rock garden area you in is amazing! They actually used to have we rock comps in that area. I competed in one.
Hay maybe you can talk to the senator talk everyone to get to there office to the budget Bounced and make it a law if have do this again to start working on it 1 year before they will have a Shut down.
So, who is this guy that shows up in an S10 on leaf springs and makes child's play out of the whole event? Then he tops it off with the best sounding rig out there. That big feller has some nerve, and skills both in building his truck and driving. He probably had less money than the others in his rig. There were some really nice rigs. Colt gets it done.

Tradition for UA is there is a driver and a co-driver,they typically don’t switch😊

Colt makes the driving look easy and spends most of his energy helping others. Go COLT ! ! !
The S10 is perfect! The V6 is one of the most capable, "right sized" easy to shoehorn into anything powerplants going. Especially in aluminum.
I hate it when people's only crawling technique is more throttle. They need a 2x4 under the throttle pedal.
CO2 makes so much more sense than maintaining an air compressor which seems to be a fairly fragile system. And the CO2 is portable.

All body damage is the fault of the spotter ;) ;) Everything else is the fault of the driver or mechanic ;) ;)
I wasn't a big fan of the side exhaust, but whatever muffler you used does make a sweet sound.
That yeller flat fender jeep is the longest jeep I have ever seen.

I live in West Virginia and I bought a 1978 Mustang 2 cobra off a guy that lived in one of the doctors houses right next to the insane asylum.
West Virginia was beautiful to watch and I can't wait to check out the Hatfield & McCoy trail system for myself. I've heard great things.
