Well Alcatraz had more highlights so it makes sense since this is a highlights video, I watched this match live and Carlos made a ton of errors and missed a bunch of serves too.
But man is he an entertainer. When he’s on he’s on, but this match he was on and off on and off while Meddy was consistent throughout, he didn’t make himself a spectacle he just played solid tennis and put himself in great positions to win points. Whereas Alcaraz went for too much sometimes and missed many many shots. He was out of mojo for sure :((( hopefully we wins against meddy here at Wimbledon I’ll be watching live here on centre court🥹

I thought so too after watching the 1st set, but there is a lot of Medvedev in the 2nd and 4th sets. They don't show Medvedev's winning points with Alcaraz's error at the end. I remember only one such point here.

@@stevenruiz1504 Alcaraz actually played very well except for the 2nd set, where Medvedev was flawless, and the endings of the 1st and 4th sets. In the 1st set he had excellent stats, but he lost it. At the end of the 4th set the crowd gave Alcaraz the opportunity to return to the game, disturbing Medvedev on serve for the match, but he made unforced errors. Medvedev wasn't that consistent, he failed the beginning of the match, scattering double faults, and failed the 3rd set.

This is a REALLY weird highlights video, considering that Medvedev basically trounced Alcaraz. I mean, I think Alcaraz is awesome, a rising star, and he does deliver some great points and creative play, but how about credit where credit is due? The entire second set was Medvedev wiping the floor with Alcaraz, but we only saw the Alcaraz magic and none of the Medvedev magic. A slight bit of bias, perhaps?

It’s really funny to me how whenever Medvedev beats either Sinner Djokovic or Alcaraz, it’s always that they had a bad day and not that Medvedev beat them fair and square.
Medvedev said it best, in tennis, any player on any given day can beat someone who might be “better” than them.
Medvedev is one of the greats of this sport, I hope that one day he receives the respect he deserves.

He beat sinner straight 6 times in a row.
      He beat Djokovic 5 times
      He beat alcaraz 2 times
And I think in hard courts
He is going to beat Carlos alcaraz again.
Because Medvedev is hard court specialist 😎

I hoped, that this year WTA/ATP/ITF, would stop this nonsense of mixing sport with politics.
Every player should have right to play under her/his country's flag. One cannot choose the country of one's birth.
Appointing "flag police" at tennis tournaments is not even childish... it is embarrassing and insane...
Wars are run by politicians not sportsmen/sportswomen.
Why during the invasion of Iraq, 20 year bombing of Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and Pakistan not to mention the genocidal Vietnam war US, Australian, UK... athletes were allowed to compete under their national flag?
USA invaded Iraq in 2003 and yet their flag was still allowed at the World Cup 2006 in Germany and 2010 in South Africa despite the fact they were still in Iraq.
Either ban ALL flags of countries who go to war, or don't ban any of them.
Interestingly enough Israeli tennis players Mika Buchnik and Guy Sasson are allowed to play under the national flag in AO 2024 despite the policy of their government towards Palestinians in Gaza.

All wars are equal, but some wars are more equal than others.
