Ahh. The sound of a Td5 engine! Reminds me on my Nan’s Defender 90 she had. Y543TOA. Sadly, she had to sell it, I still miss it to this day, greetings from Brighton and Hove UK.
To me, since it's old, it sounds like a truck to me lol. Also we used to have a 1999 Land Rover Defender 130 TD5 Dual Cab. It was white, a 5-speed manual, and to me it looked like one of those military hummers. It was also an Inline-Five, but we sold it because when it rains there's no seal to prevent water from getting into the cabin. Later the new owner made some modifications and showed it to my mum, he put one of those black snorkels that curves up, and also put a roof rack. I just miss my Land Rover, and I want it back.
Hi, odd question but I don’t know anything about cars but I’m thinking about investing and getting a professional conversation of a defender. So would you go for a 1999 defender 110 td5 with 200K km or a 2011 defender 110 td4 with 310K Km? They are around the same price and good exterior condition
@@analea6531difficult to say not knowing the overall condition. I would go for the 1999 td5. Better engine and easier to work on. Decide over wich car has the better overall condition eg. chassis (rust) and all other components
Bloody love the sound of a TD5. Hopefully a Defender 110 TD5 will be mine.
For now I am enjoying owning the Freelander 2 TD4
I forgot how tame the startup was with the stock map, sounds much healthier than mine and looks really good. Nice truck!
