Man they were a powerful band . Holy hell.
The young raw innocence here swells my heart
This time of U2 is my favorite. So much energy. Great songs. Love all their stuff but this is my favorite period.
I saw them on this tour but not at this venue. I was all of 15 and I really can't describe how connected the entire crowd and band felt. It was really something. I was able to see them many times over the years and it was always an amazing concert but nothing quite like that first time.
apparently people don't realize but Bono was clearly singing to God this song
If you haven't yet, check out the DVD of the full concert. Brilliant.
Unforgetable version! Edge kills it on the solo! U2 rules!
iconic lyric ad-lib: "...This is the EDGE."
Pretty amazing. That was the show when they realized that they were really in the big leagues now. They were superstars. Rock n Roll forever. 🤘 🎸 🥁 🎤💙
We were all so young! So glad this is the music of my carefree youth! Great songs, no filth… and faith!
Back in the original days of vinyl, I played Live at Red Rocks over and over; even watched the concert on VHS 🎼🎸📼 🇮🇪
Best concert ever!!!!!
What a show and the sound quality of this recording is
This Is history ❤

Oh Lord loosen my lips. Not to be denied ,the impact and joy of this music.
Gloria is that type of song that can get an audience jumping. This awesome concert is proof of that.

I try to sing this song
I, I try to stand up
But I can't find my feet
I try, I try to speak up
But only in you I'm complete
Gloria, in te domine
Gloria, exultate
Gloria, gloria
Oh Lord, loosen my lips
I try to sing this song
I, I try to get in
But I can't find the door
The door is open
You're standing there
You let me in
Gloria, in te domine
Gloria, exultate
Oh Lord, if I had anything
Anything at all
I'd give it to you
I'd, I'd give it to you
Give it to you
(Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh)
Gloria, in te domine
Gloria
Gloria
Gloria, in te domine
Gloria
Gloria, in te domine
Gloria
Gloria
Gloria, in te domine
Gloria
Gloria
The Power of it..
38 years on, still perfect and still a great song live.
Fantastic sound from adams bass in this song
Listened to this cassette over and over in high school back in late 80s the feeling i got listening to it ....now almost 40 years later to watch the concert live you people will never truly understand the feeling i have
Oh God yes. Joshua Tree was the top for them.
Monumental. Iconic.
he who sings prays twice! Sublime
A big thank you to all my fans!
What will my name and career be without all of your love and support?
Amidst my darkest days you all stood by me,
I don't have all the time in the world to reply, but i do read your heartwarming comments and i truly appreciate all.
It's the season of love
& so i decided to put smiles on the faces of my fans by going through old posts on my official page and hitting up random fans,
So i can get to relate with my fans better through discussions of depth and humour, listening to compliments and criticisms on my career walk.

U2 foreever bono kicks ass❤
One of the rare ones who sound great live
Brilliant version of Gloria, showcasing U2's best guitar riff. U2 at their peak - no other band came close.
Quando avevi 15 anni ed ascoltavi questa canzone...
Quando ne hai 53 e continui ad ascoltarla..
U2 for ever
Just 4 guys on the same wavelength rocking the hell out of a great song. Superb.
Excellent use of harmonics and heavy/soft dynamics in the song. Absolute beauty. As much as I love The Joshua Tree and beyond, their early stuff had such a glimmering fire to it. Makes your heart and soul just dance.
