A full foam board, with a thick pbt keycaps, and this Switch, and you'll have a muted keyboard. Lol. Been using this for probably a week or so. It is a good choice for office. The typing feel is nice. But to me, i prefer a louder switch to make a thock, or poppy. Rosewood is not a bad switch by any means, but after trying a louder thock combo, a pop, a high pitch clack, the Rosewood switches is not really my type. Anyway, love your take on this Rosewood Vid!
mostly because of the keyboard. lol. kinda annoying when reviewers use different setups when testing switches. ive been misled to buy switches because they were "thoccy" only to find out that they sound very different on my keyboard. that was when i was still new to this hobby. now i've learned to buy test switches to try on MY keyboard, before committing to a full set. reviews are nice and good, but nothing beats personal experience.
So nice!!! Sounds a bit muted but I am here for the thocccccckkk
Add that to the PBT caps and its really muted haha
@@Mega_Keys what iffffff 🫣

Thank you! it is a very muted switch kinda missing something louder hehe
@@Mega_Keys true tho
Sounds a bit mushy, might be because of the spring. Great vid as usual! Missing the memes tho. 😅
Soon hehe 😜
agree
I replaced the spring with a morandi spring and it sounded just as mushy. I have no idea what is causing that sound...
@@JensengTea try relubbing them, clean the old lube off or spread the factory lube evenly. Should do the trick
@@Mega_Keys How do I clean out the bottom housing where the post goes?
That deep sound 🤩
Super broo

@@zigrakudo4092 true, but my neo70 by all means is not thocky lol, watch my other reviews where i use the same setup, hmx macchiatos for example
@@Mega_Keys oh yeah, ive seen that video some time ago. HMXs are very high pitched. haha. anyways, just a question. Kababayan?
@@zigrakudo4092 seeee issue solved, yes kababayan haha

Hot take: the only good sounding Akko switches are the Fairies and the Penguins.
