      @@onenumbertableauI was trying to add column total instead of row total,but seems the column total is split after adding Color mark. Really feel so frustrated.

      @onenumbertableau  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tti8250 Hi! Sorry for the delay in response. It sounds like it's splitting because two criteria are being met at the same time in the total. If it's still giving you a problem, let me know! If you can contact us through our website, I might be able to help more over email. onenumber.biz/contact-us Thanks!

    Is there anyway to make the column headers at the end be on top rather than on bottom?

      Yep! Here's one way to do it: th-cam.com/video/mhP70RvWBQE/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=OneNumber-TableauExperts

    How do we resize column width, adding too many columns truncates the text and all columns have the same width by default. Appreciate your help.

    • @onenumbertableau
      @onenumbertableau  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Abhinav, that is one limitation of this approach that all columns will have the same width. Could you create a line break to wrap the text? (more on that here: onenumber.biz/blog-1/2017/12/27/char10-the-secret-to-creating-line-breaks-in-tableau-calculations)

    is there a way to Colour an entire row AND conditionally format a column at the same time?
    lets say I have 4 Regions (North, South, East West), just using Superstore data for this scenario
    and I have a matrix that shows their Sales and their Profit in 2 columns
    I have a Paramater that allows me to select 1 of the 4 regions
    lets say I select North in the Paramater
    in the Matrix I'd like to highlight the entire row for North to be Blue, but I would also like cell in the Profit Column to be Green if its a profit and Red if its a loss
    I know how to do these separately (thanks to your videos) but I can't find a way to do them Together, and I really need to for my current job

      After thinking about it for a while, I think it might be easiest if you build two different worksheets and format them in a dashboard to look like a single sheet. I cant think of a way to conditionally format Rows and a single Measure column in a multi-measure highlight table.

    • @FalconFlyer75
      @FalconFlyer75 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@onenumbertableau I wish I could, the problem is it’s a sizable list and when I export to PDF it gets cut off in a dashboard, In a worksheet this isn’t a problem tableau just breaks it over multiple pages
      I appreciate u taking the time to answer though, your videos are a great reference

    • @onenumbertableau
      @onenumbertableau  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FalconFlyer75 The only other option I can dream of is unconventional. You could pivot the Sales and Profit columns in your data source so that you have a column called "Field Name" and another called "Value". If you did that, it would make the data source pretty unusable for other purposes but would help for this scenario.
      That way you could set up a multi-line IF statement like this.
      IF [Region] = [Region Parameter] AND (IF [Field Name] = "Profit" THEN [Value] END) > 0 THEN "Green"
      ELSEIF [Region] = [Region Parameter] AND (IF [Field Name] = "Profit" THEN [Value] END)

      Depends on the visual type. Try seeing if you can turn it off with the "Map Options" dropdown. help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/maps_options.htm

      Hi! If you aren't able to right-click and drag to add the calculation, you can always change the aggregation from SUM to MAX after the fact too. Just hit the dropdown on the pill, select the Measure breakout menu and select "MAX". Good luck!

      @@onenumbertableau Hi, i am having another problem with the PIE chart label overcrowding. When filter the dashboard the labels either crumbled up in the middle of the dashboard or they are overlapping over one another. How can i solve this issue? @@bjoy20101 Hi! There's not perfect way to handle this but one option is to overlay a small pie chart inside of a larger one so the slices appear like they're in the middle of the larger slices.
