- Up to 16000 rpm is something you only know from 600 cc sportbikes.
Why do they need to rev so high and how can they do it?

I've used AI for making this thumbnail. The person is still me, it's just a random selfie.
Excellent information, you remind me of the Engineering Explained channel focusing on motorcycles. Presumably you're a pro engineer so using your expertise to summarize these concepts for us non-engineers is a treasure trove of potential. Keep up the great work, looking forward to seeing you refine your style and craft!
Thanks a lot! I think that's the greatest feedback/compliment someone's ever told me 😊
Nice video! Also I think what makes the sound of the 600s and 1000 cc inline 4 engines so recognizable is that flatplane crank and the even firing order of the cylinders. You know from a mile away that there’s a screamer inline 4 sportbike coming. 🙂
Thank you 🥰 that's so true! And it's also a good idea, I could have done a bit more deep dive into the reasons for the sound... Maybe in another video 😊
But yeah, your friends always know 5 minutes before you're actually at their house, that you're coming 😅
I need a solid workhorse mule in a motorcycle, not a flash racehorse 🙂
I have groceries I have to haul every two weeks from town and back, I need to eat year round.
Do other motorcyclists not have to eat, or secretly drive cars? 😛
Between 250cc to 800cc is all you need !
Yeah well it is how you say it: I actually don't eat during winter. Especially not when it snows.
No seriously, I have to admit that I'm cheating. I've got a little tiny car. Usually hidden, but when it's too cold outside for the sporttires of my sportbike to get ANY grip, then I secretly take the car to the grocery store... 😬
@@GiuliaonGasoline Intermittent fasting is great for losing weight and feeling a lot better. My record is 20 days.
I broke my fast not because I was hungry, but because I just really missed the act of chewing food and the taste, so I ate a Dorito. You can't eat just one Dorito, so that was the end of THAT fast. MSG, baby!
I need to do another 20 day fast, or just switch back to the Keto diet. I was doing great, then got bored, and wanted to taste a Root Beer. Big mistake.
@choppergirl wow that's pretty long! Unfortunately in Germany in many Winters it snows more than 20 days so I guess I still couldn't do that 😪
@@GiuliaonGasoline It depends where you are in like Europe. In Wisconsin it could be like the North Sea, but in Georgia where I am the climate is just like Rome. Froh Weinachten :-) th-cam.com/video/uNVsNSMfGqU/w-d-xo.html
Nice!!!
Thank you 😊
