That Xian noodle place is one of myself and wife’s favorite. Only drawback is that it is a tiny place inside a Vietnamese supermarket and easy to miss. Glad that Mickey made it there. From a LV native ❤️

Ever since I’ve seen Mike eat Xian food I have looked all over Vegas for a Xian restaurant going as far as asking Chinese restaurants if they serve Xianese food and all I get is “huh?” Lo and behold Mike finds the only Xianese restaurant in Vegas and its inside SF. The only east asian grocery I go to. FML.
I want to go on a food tour with Mikey. I'm a chef and would gain a masters degree in Chinese food. Love his knowledge. It's so relatable to other types of food.

So many of us comfort ourselves with foods from our childhood. I grew up in Virginia in the US. A very poor area. We did not eat a lot of meat. We sold what we had to by school shoes and other needs. But there were a lot vegetables, because we had a huge garden, which mostly fed us. I still get giddy over a meal of soup beans, cornbread, and fried potatoes loaded with peppers and onions. Thank you for introducing us to your family. I,at 80 wish my grandparents were still with me, they taught me everything I know. Love your videos!!

Xian cuisine is one of my favorites. It's hard to find in the US. I can't wait to make it to Vegas and try this place out, it looks amazingly authentic and delicious♥️! Quick note: There is a documentary series on Netflix called Flavorful Origins that highlights different foods from different Chinese provinces. The segment on Xian/gluten is fascinating and worth a watch.

I’m from Los Angeles and because it’s only a 3.5-4 hour drive to Las Vegas I’ve been at least 25 times in my life. I’ve sort of lost my admiration for it but you’re making me want to love Vegas again. They really do have great food. ♥️

as someone who grew up in the middle of nowhere, at least an hour from anything, I feel this open so much. I went to vegas as a kid to visit a family member and I remember every minute, I went to NYC as a preteen and became OBSESSED and all I wanted was to live there. If you grew up 30+ minutes from even the nearest basic fast food places (mc donalds, bk, wendys) and with no foods from other cultures you're probably a fan of Mikey, I see y'all, we're here and we're living and eating vicariously through him.
