Suggestion: You may want to level the RV as it would be in camping mode and then run your slides in before you calibrate. That way you would be able to check level taking in to account the variation that may occur when you set up the camper.
Great video, thank you! I just bought the device and your tutorial was very helpful before I set it up this weekend.
This is the first video I've watched of yours and I believe you did a great job friend. My wife just bought one of these for me and I'm looking forward to easier leveling of our class A going forward. We bought an older RV that was set up pretty well but has no leveling equipment so this should help.
Thank you for your detailed and professional instructions.
Great Job! Thank you, Jimmy for the detailed instructions and taking the time to explain everything.
Just bought this level indicator on Amazon. Looks like a great tool and looking forward to using it to simplify setups when camping.
Thanks
If the battery goes dead do you have to reset everything?
No, the unit has internal memory and will remember all of your settings.
Once its mounted and you need to change batteries can you access battery compartment while its mounted
confused - what does MEASURE THE WIDTH FROM THE OUTSIDE OF EACH TIRE actually mean?
Great video. Thank you. How long did the batteries last?
Also, how has the double sided tape install held up? I don't use a drill, so I'd have to get someone to do this, if the tape doesn't hold up.
We have not had to change thew batteries yet, they are still working. As for the double sided tape holds well just make sure to use adhesion promoter.
Thanks for sharing, a nice concise video of installation and calibration. My question is it’s been about four months since you did the video, any problems with using the unit since you installed it. Thanks.
So once the unit is set, you pull into a site and it says you are low on one side, how do you make the actual correction? Drive onto the Anderson Leveling Blocks etc to move into level per the device? Im very new to camping, lol.
Yes you are correct
When you pull into your campsite try to get as level as possible according to the unit then you can make the corrections with your Anderson levels.
Only problem with this, wireless app needs to update all the time. If the developer stops making update it will turn to a paperweight.
Installation of the unit on the front interior wall of the cargo bay, does the unit have to be mounted straight up vertical or can it be slightly angled forward as the interior wall of my cargo bay is angled forward in the direction of the trailer traveling forward?
Sounds like you can mount it whatever way you want and then calibrate the leveling in the app if I understand the video correctly
Thanks
