@@SilvasSmallMining Thank you Bob, I appreciate your kind words. Things here are moving slowly forward. I hope I can get some major things accomplished this week since I don’t have much work this week. If you’re free you all can come by and take a visit here. Take care and I’ll talk with you soon.
always amazing to think they drilled, blasted and mucked out only 3 feet a day to drop that shaft to 3000 feet deep .....would love to see what is below the plug in the shaft .....so much history and wonder what the station looks like where it meets up with the Sutro tunnel. Another great vid and keep'em coming y brother
@@Askjeffwilliams Wow, I wish I had known that insight of 3 feet per day. I heard a rumor that a stolen sports car was set on fire and pushed into the shaft. And yeah…it would be awesome to see that station. It’s just amazing what you know and what you think about. It makes me feel like a small time thinker 🤣 Thanks for your encouragement. Love you guys.
@@jonfranklin4583 I’m so glad you love the history and that you’re here with us. Unfortunately I did not find any ore there. Then again since they only found low-grade ore I didn’t expect to find anything there. I did pick some what I think is rhyolite a little further up the dirt road. I’m going to cut into it and see what it has. Take care.
Great video Ernie. You do such a great job with the history. I really enjoy it.
I hope everything is going smoothly at your new place.
Take care.

@@Gdigger775 Thank you for your support 🙏🏼
The blacksmiths and iron producers sure stayed busy around there.
@@gitnitdun That’s for sure. Can you imagine how long it would take you and to dig all that or just to be the go-fers 😳
Love learning the history of these mining endeavors. Did you find any ore to process?
