The things I mostly want in a Mario Maker update/sequel are: blue abd yellow koopa (from SMW), the buzzy beetle that throws blocks at you (from SMB3, and I also like to call them yeeter beetle), fire-, boomerang-, ice bro and big boo (from SMW). I also would like to see ice flovers in all styles, and a volcano theme
The “yeeter beetle” is actually called a buster beetle
I'd also like to see boney beetle
Until Nintendo makes another console, I honestly don't see Super Mario Maker 3 happening. But otherwise, great video. 👍

You forgot to mention Fuzzies - they're not the most interesting or useful enemies in the world (sorry ceave) but they should be a relatively easy addition to implement, especially since they are in 3/5 game styles.
Also an enemy i don't see mentioned is swoops (the bats). would be a nice addition to cave or even ghost house levels, and they have a relatively unique attack pattern.
personally i would like to see bony beetles the most- the skeletal buzzies that extend their spikes in smw or nsmbu. more castle/ghost house enemies would be nice and they have a behavior that really can't be recreated at all in smm

But there isn't any easy way to drop hazards straight down towards Mario and it's a real bummer for me.
The closest thing that comes this idea near are cannons from the ceiling or on conveyor belts so they can move a bit.
Every other enemy always shoots in an angle like Bowser in a cloud or on a track with his fireballs in NSMBU or the koopalings...
I know another enemy: Fire Snake.

Adds wings to the Fire Snake and it can fly and hunt Mario like Mad Wigglers underwater or Pokeys in the Grass Night Theme!

I personally want shy guys (mainly because it would be really cool to have more stuff from smb2) and fuzzies the most, but these enemies would also be really cool!

There should be level theme unique enemies.
ex: crabs, penguins, vine-guys, dinosaurs, rhinos, birds, bats, sea-urchins, frogs, etc ....
I feel like they should add the wallop from super mario 3d land because even though its in a 3d game I feel like it would still work well as a 2d enemy but also be exclusive to 3d world style since its from 3d land
I agree with all of these. After SMM first came out I’d always hoped for Spikes, Mechakoopas, and Koopalings, and I was amazed that we actually got them. So it’s definitely possible that we could get these one day.
I also want a special item called the “Boss Crown.” When making a level you add it to a normal enemy and make it a boss. Put on normal boss enemies like the Koopalings will make them go from 3 hits to 6 hits.
Goomba becomes King Goomba
Lakitu becomes that lightning one
Any of the bros would get a slight color change fitting of a boss variant
Thwomp would be a King Thwomp that you either hit with pows, hammer, or even bombs
And finally, turn Piranha Plants into Petey Piranha or maybe Navel Piranha.
There's also the whistling chuck that wakes up fish

Nipper plants? Including the fire-spitting variety, that would add some nice variety and give us another plant enemy that's not a generic Piranha Plant.

I could see it, but I could also see Nintendo messing it up and forcing you to have the wheel they’re on with it. Wouldn’t it be cool to have 4 reznors chasing you instead of chilling on a wheel?

Chargin Chuck, Amp, Stone Spike, Sumo Bro, Flame Chomp, Fire Snake, All Hammer Bro Sub Species (Boomerang, Fire and Ice), and Sledge Bro alike Versions of the previously mentioned Hammer Bro Sub Species (Like Heavy Fire Bros)
These are great enemys! I'm sure nintendo will add them in the future!😁

There is a forgotten enemy that should reappear in mm3. The volcano fog.
While their at it, why not make the volcano, beach, mountain, tower, underground ice, underground water, underground sand, underground lava, undeground forest, sewer, and underground ghost house
What Is Underground Ghost House, Underground Jungle, And Underground Water. I Don't Get It.
Chargin’ Chuck Variations:
-Chargin’(Rushes at You.)
-Pitchin’(Jumps and Tosses Baseballs.)
-Puntin’(Kicks Footballs at You.)
-Diggin’(Has a Shovel to Dig Up and fling dirt boulders at you.)
-Splittin’(Splits himself into 3 Chargin’ Chucks.)
-Leapin’(Jumps High like Frogs.)
-Clappin’(Jumps whenever you jump and claps(kinda like a Skipsqueak.))
-Kickin’(Does exactly what the Puntin’ Chuck does but with soccer balls.)
Very good list, they all see the most logic inclusions after Spike and Pokey got added ;) Too many list include really obscure and irrelevant enemies. Three other enemies that are missing of that imo are Fuzzies and Boss Bass for the gameplay options and
Reznor (those platform Dinos of SMW) for the complete package of recurring bosses.
Also before people begin on shy guys they actually never rappeared in platform SMB games after SMB2 only in Yoshi and Party games.

I don’t usually watch Mario maker and I do like the game, but i subscribed because you asked so nicely.
My list:
Ice, Boomerang & Fire bro as forms of the hammer bro in all of the styles
Chunckin' Chucks (please make is possible to do enemy stacking with them also, please make the ones in NSMBU style the punching ghost ones)
The broodals from Super Mario Odyssey (as boss enemies)
Sumo Bros
Bullet bills (as a form of banzai bills)
Giant bullet blaster (shoots banzai bills instead of bullet bills)
Ice Piranha Plant (as a form of Piranha Plant)
Ty-foo (as a form of twister in all of the styles, in the NSMBU style it could be this wind enemy from the sky levels)
Octoomba (as a form of Goomba & Galoomba)
Goomba in SMW style
Galoomba in SMB, SM3DW, NSMBU % SMB3 styles
New enemy: king bill
An enemy that in SMM3, in all styles, they are invincible. Only a flagpole or stepping on it under the affect of a Big Mushroom can defeat him. It can defeat all enemies excluding for bosses in 1 hit. When they are defeated, they maker a Bowser death sound only in SMB1, SMB3 and SMW styles. King bill in 3d World takes an appearance to the NSMBU style.
One enemy I want: Whomps
Now your thinking: How will that work? Well there can be a whomp facing the screen looking towards you that will slam mario if he goes under it. Also there could be a whomp walking around that will slam mario if he goes in front of it

Shy guy- he's basically the goomba but he takes two hits to beat the first hit will stun him. He also has multiple variations. Pink won't fall off and blue will chase u.
Snifit-basically the shy guy but will shoot bullets that u can not jump on. Has the same variations as well
Kamek- basically magikoopa as a boss
New variations
Blue spike-will throw spike balls downwards instead of infront of him.will also always stay in the spot he was put in one instead of moving
Ice bro- basically the firebro but his attacks will freeze u
If u have anymore ideas tell me in the replies
We need the same levels background, but with an alternate version.
Night time variations?
Actually, we can't take all things from Mario Multiverse, Nintendo should credit xD

The sniper bros! These guy's hammers are almost impossible to dodge. Sadly, this enemy was cut.

My fav boss that’s not in the game already is kamek and kamek can change some of the blocks into ice blocks with enemies in them and can duplicate himself and he flys on a broom so he’s hard to hit. (And I think he’s unique)

Actually there were hammer bros in both of the smb and smw styles so they can use those texuresfor the boomerang bros
i totally agree with all 5. and the boomerang bro is without a doubt very silly they did not brought it in the game. they still want to keep things limited as possible. but i gotta say that they really need to start taking it seriously and give us what we actually expect from them.
if they gonna keep ignoring this, yeah well it was a nice game but their goes your money mate. i mean i still have plenty of other games to play so i hope they will make the right choice.
Blue and Yellow Shell Koopas.
1.5 speed from regular green shell koopas.
Blue is more of a smart shell where if mario isn't below or in the direction it is facing it will act as a red shell but if mario is below and in the direction it is facing then it will act as a green shell.
Also Blue flying Yoshi and Yellow Groundstomp Yoshi could be a nice addition.

Got some more enemies to mention from smw. King Boo, Snake Boo, Dino Rhino, Boney Beetle, Spike ball chain, ninji and the boss Reznor. I wish all these could have been in Super Mario Maker 2.

We need Big Bertha in the other styles! As well as the blue dragon that takes two hits in Mario World. And how about Reznor platforms! You could use them as a normal 4 circular platforms, or you could even add a Reznor as some sort of challenge!
