    Glad you enjoyed that ! When we first got the engine, the compression was in the 45 to 100 lb. range and it was on the wrong reverse-rotation firing order. It's still happily powering a Glen-L Monaco !

      Thank you for your interest in the video. This engine was built many years ago and is still running strong. Cost to build depends on engine and transmission condition. This one needed a lot of machine work but was worth it because it was installed in a Glen-L Monaco mahogany barrellback.     Chris Craft never built engines, that's a Chevrolet 283 V8.
