    Happend to me 10 years ago. A few month ago again I couldn't open the sliding door anymore. I opened the panel just to find out thst it was somehow locked because I disconnected nthe battery for some time. Anyhow thanks for the video. And yes my favorite color too.

    Don't feel so bad, my 2010 Chevrolet Silverado inside door handle broke. It's made of pot metal and, apparently, they are around $140 to $150 cdn dollars NEW. I think I'll take a chance and, get one from the scrapyard.

      Yeh, OEM used one usually better than "cheap online special" one)

    You have to use the old lock though because you won't be able to open that door with your old key.

      You leave the original lock in place, so your old key still works.

      Yup, just use your original door lock cylinder.
