Hello there! As an English Teacher I want to give my thanks for this video. My students know how to use the adverbs of frequency in their exercises. Greenting from Lima Peru 2023 - Teacher Víctor! :)
Finally! Now I know how to use adverbs of Frequency in sentences. Huge help for us especially English is not my first language and I have not always practiced this crazy language. I should try my best use these AOF in writing sentences also conversation. Thank for sharing and teaching to us. Keep it up.
I have found your lesson very helpful, it has cleared all the doubts I had about this topic. This kind of adverbs has always been kind of difficult. Specially, to know where to place it in the sentence. Now I will never have ti struggle with this topic thanks to you. You have got a new subscriber
thank u for this lesson.. i always watch your channel .. i usually take down notes i often read my books i never practice how to speak in english so that i am not english speaker.pls correct mam my.sentences thank you.
Remember the word "I" always begins with a capital letter. Just the last sentence needs to change... I never practice speaking English as I am not an English speaker.
Hi dear teacher, I always watch and listen carefully to your videos. As a result, I have never done those saily English mistakes. However, I need more time to practice English in real life because I live in An Arabic country with a little contact with native English speakers. Usually, my friends and I are trying to speak English all the time, but unfortunately, it is rare to spend lots of time speaking it. In spite of that obstacle, we try regularly meet on the weekend to hang out and speak as much English as we can. Do not forget, I always apprecaite your effort dear.
I always spend time watching woodward english videos.I often and practise english, sometimes i go to the cinema to watch a english movie with subtitles 😉.but i rarely wash the dishes and do the laundry ^^.thank you for your lessons, teacher 😊
The video is organised beautifully , clear and easy to understand. I also like the voice of the teacher. I and many people who are learning English feel grateful and happy to watch videos like this. Please make more videos. Thank you very much!
Please sir .I have a question in this lesson , example: sb + to be or to have + adverbe + verbe ( WE used the perfect or the continous tens or not ) ( I have Always donne m'y homework ( in this example it's not the continous tens because thé continous end whith ing , in your example are'nt the ing in the ending ) thank you sir .
I always like to watch your videos and I never miss but occasionally it is difficult to study but I try to do it often Just tried to form a sentence sir 😊🙏 might be sentences are miss match also
Hey. Loved this video. I am really curios about something. I noticed you said "Adverbs of Frequency" but I have also heard "Frequency Adverbs". Why can this be expressed both ways??? It is like saying "Terms of use" I haven't heard anyone say "Use Terms" or "Adverbs of manner" as "Manner Verbs" Is there any rule for this? Any help will be appreciated...
I always speak Russian at home. I usually feed my pets three times a day. My daughter normally gets good marks. I often make greeting cards for my friend. Sometimes I watch English movies on Netflix. I occasionally go to bed early. I am seldom late somewhere. I rarely drink milk. I never listen to rap.
these are very wonderful and exciting lessons which attracted me my emotional really thank you very much for your deep explanation and your good understanding for these lessons
You have to upload as many videos as possible. We don't find videos on many topics like would, could, conditionals, could have been and so on. So please help us improve our English. This is my hearty request. Thank you.
At the moment I only have time to create one video a week. I would like to create more though I don't have much time for it. The topics you mention are already on my list.
Thank u it was very helpfull! Edit: After ur lecture i got some other info. About these adv.s like in present simple u have to use only some certain kind of adv.s of frequency like (always, often, sometimes, usually, never, rarely) So it that true or not ?
You can use all of these adverbs in the simple present tense. Just the position of the adverb may change. For example, I mention the adverbs that CANNOT go at the beginning of a sentence.
Teacher, what if the sentence is " negative"? It is like when we want to deny someone's statement. For example: - A : She hardly ever gets angry. B: No, she doesn't hardly ever get angry. (B wants to emphasise that A's statement is wrong) Is the word order said by B wrong? Does it sound strange?
Good afternoon sir. If hardly, seldom, never, rarely come at the beginning then will take inversion. Thanks and Regards Raja Aurangzeb from Lahore Pakistan.
It depends on how specific you want to be.Definite frequency = more specific/exact information about the frequency Indefinite frequency = an approximation of the frequency

Sir you say use auxiliary verb before adverb but on website you use adverb before auxiliary verb (I usually have cereal for breakfast)
HAVE in that sentence is not an auxiliary verb ... it is a normal verb.

Do we really use "always" with the present perfect tense !!??
Yes we can though it is more common with the simple present tense.
Are they usefull with all tenses?
muy asombroso hablar en ingles
🤔😓🤓i like
Big thumbs up to you
Yeah
Thanks Anisa
Do adverbs of frequency work with the simple present only? Thank you
No, you can also use them in the perfect tense.
For example: I have always been crazy. :)
She has never eaten worms.
Excellent
Thank you
thanks to video 😊
Un saludo a mi profe que me pidió ver el vídeo de tarea 🤑👌
You have an awesome teacher!

Teacher, what if the sentence is " negative"? It is like when we want to deny someone's statement. For example:
- A : She hardly ever gets angry.
B: No, she doesn't hardly ever get angry. (B wants to emphasise that A's statement is wrong)
Is the word order said by B wrong? Does it sound strange?
Yes, B sounds strange.
@@WoodwardEnglish How would it sound better? Please!
Teacher, how about negative sentences in present simple? Do we say:
1- I don't usually watch TV OR
2- I usually don't watch TV
First one is more common, you may also hear the second one.
Thank teacher so much, but I want teacher examples about (Exception: Using always or never to give orders or instructions.)
That will be included in a video about imperatives and giving orders. Though it won't be for a while.
He often plays football well. Or He often plays well football. Which one is correct?
Thank you ♡♡♡♡♡ I also hope that I've never eaten dog food ^^
Ha ha ha ha! I forgot I had said that.

I rarely sleep in the evening.
In only indefinite adverb we can use adverb before main verb, Why?
I have a question if you don't have mind I want to know why do we have indefinite and define adverbs of frequency?
It depends on how specific you want to be.Definite frequency = more specific/exact information about the frequency
Indefinite frequency = an approximation of the frequency

Por qué todos los comentarios están en inglés? 🤧
