    Hello, thank you for explaining 😉
    These are the answers XD
    I wash my hair once a day
    oh and I don't know how often I go to the dentist, maybe annually.
    I have English classes twice a week. Today I just eat McDonald's!! 😁But I don't really know how often do I eat fast food.. I have no schedule!! I brush my teeth twice a day.. I get a haircut monthly. I don't really know at pandemic (About Restaurant 😂), but before, I go to restaurant almost every day!
    And I used English every day! Same to you, have an awesome day! Thank you! I learned a lot today!

    Hey. Loved this video. I am really curios about something. I noticed you said "Adverbs of Frequency" but I have also heard "Frequency Adverbs". Why can this be expressed both ways??? It is like saying "Terms of use" I haven't heard anyone say "Use Terms" or "Adverbs of manner" as "Manner Verbs" Is there any rule for this? Any help will be appreciated...

    One of my favourite lessons and of course you deserve a like with five stars. let's answer the questions. My daily routine starts at 6 am with a shower after getting up, so guess what? I wash my hair on a daily base. Going to the dentist is a nightmare to all humans and I, so I do not like to go there but at least once or twice a year and on occasions that I have a tooth ache. English is becoming an interest in my life and I always attend online courses twice a day. No doubt, fast food is a garbage and unhealthy but as my kids are fallen in love with McDonald, we usually eat it weekly. Brushing my teeth is a matter of no question, I always brush my teeth early morning after getting up and sometimes before going to bed. My hair is growing too fast, so I have to visit the barber every fortnight. I prefer to eat homemade food but with the kids' enforcement, I go every weekend and right now, I am going to a restaurant, wish me a delicious food.hahahahah. Again and again, you are the best teacher ever.

    Instead of using "Three times" we can say "thrice"

    • @WoodwardEnglish
      @WoodwardEnglish  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is VERY OLD English and not used in modern times.
      It is like saying THEE instead of YOU. It exists (or existed) but is not used.

  • @olababa761
    @olababa761 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice video, thanks. I think we can say 'thrice' also it means three times. The zoo is open every day. I think it should be passive voice, 'opened' not open as used in the video. Meanwhile, you are doing a great job, thanks.

    • @WoodwardEnglish
      @WoodwardEnglish  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi.Yes, thrice does exist and was used in the past (a long time ago) though you will most likely NOT hear it nowadays. It is like the word THOU ... not used.
      I used OPEN as an adjective. :) as in.... it is open today and every day.
      Have a great day ola baba and thanks for your comments.

  • @OrionDuCros

    It is completely acceptable in English to say one time or two times, it's just not as common.

    • @OrionDuCros
      @OrionDuCros 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Similarly, it is acceptable to say "thrice" even though that is less common than "three times"

    • @WoodwardEnglish
      @WoodwardEnglish  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You may hear people say one time or two times but I try to teach people how to speak in the best way in the same way that I don't teach "AIN'T".
      The word THRICE died decades ago. I have never heard a native speaker say it in my lifetime. (I have been teaching for 25 years and I pay attention to the things people say.) It is somewhat dated in American and British usage, though sometimes used for a comical or intentionally archaic effect.
