@asagreenway8483 yeah. He got the metal from department H. I was right. Read my response again. Wolverine himself is called weapon X. The X is the Roman number for 10
In the comics Captain America's shield is actually vibranium adamantium alloy, the only instance of this. Marvel and Disney didn't have the rights to adamantium for the movies because X Men rights had been sold to Fox, so the shield became vibranium. Cap's shield has all the qualities of both metals being basically indestructible. Worth noting the super soldier program was later retconned to be the first stage of weapon x
Fox had the rights to the Shi'ar as well but they never used them, instead, we got the D'Bari in Dark Phoenix Fox also had the rights to the Kree and Skrulls but they gave them to Marvel
Cap's shield is Proto-Adamantium. Adamantium never existed until after Cap's shield. Adamantium was created trying to recreate the experiment that created Cap's shield. Adamantium has no Vibranium in the mixture whatsoever.
@dragonweyr44 who cares about the MCU? The writers never read the comics enough to know anything that was going on. They took the easiest backstory they could think of and ran with it. "This amazing metal fell out of the sky, strongest thing ever, it makes everyone and everything around it better." Lazy writing from lazy writers.
@dragonweyr44 Vibranium has never been the strongest metal in the comics and anyone who believes that has never really paid that much attention. All of the comic book metals have their pros and cons but Vibranium is far from the strongest metals.

This was only in The Wolverine movie. Heat has no bearing on the stability of Adamantium. The movie's writer never read the comics and was just bad at his job.
Because Silver Samurai's power is to create an energy field capable of cutting almost anything, the end result being a pretty even match for the claws. He puts that around his sword. In the comics it's an even match neither able to overcome the other. There are other things the adamantium can't cut such as the Black Knight's magical ebon blade
@@ronsexton3891 Pretty sure the samurai armor was made of adamantium? I'd have to watch again to be certain but for some reason, I have the idea stuck in my head
Wolverine's claws were originally artificial Just Adamantium blades installed right before the process of lacing Adamantium to his bones This made a lot more sense than the retconning of "he always had claws"
I'd like a retcon or update that shows the adamantium being combined with the techno-organic stuff that makes up Warlock and Magus, so that the claws are made compact when inside his arms, and expand when they are used. Otherwise we have to ignore the fact that they have no way of fitting inside his arms unless they were really small.
Knowing how uncannily sharp Wolverine's claws are, I wonder if them merely sitting within his forearms alone cause him great pain. Because when you think about it, he literally just has razor-sharp organic knives that can cut through anything pressing against muscle tissue, so anytime he turns and twists his forearms, his rectracted claws would be cutting through his flesh every single time.
I was hoping to see how his bone claws ( retcon) actually are a part of his body and muscle structure and are actuacted. I mean, how they actually work mechanically in his arms.
It is a mixed bag, he becomes more tactical due to not being indestructible, and his healing factor is better, but he can no longer cut through anything, and would later go feral due to the activation of latent mutations. He is also faster without the adamantium. Apocalypse would later regrapht the adamantium to Logan's bones.

Your wrong too. He got his claws from Department H. He's the 10th weapon made by them. Hence the Roman numerical X.
No he’s right Logan had bone claws first, the adamantuim coated all his bones including the claws

Bone claws. Adamantium claws.
How can we get past the healing factor? Every time he pops his claws, bone or metal, he has to heal.

I remember his claws were destructable when Silver Samurai slices them with a giant sword. Then they grew back up with bones this time.

Logan doesn’t have super strength, carrying a adamantuim skeleton means he can lift more than a normal human as his bones won’t snap under the weight

Wolverine had his claws long before weapons plus, they were just made of bone
His adamantium claws also never need to be sharpened.
