I hope you remake this vid in light of what we know now from the series. Specifically, now that we know how little respect D&D had for the source material, it should be plausible to readers that R+L=J was just an easy fan theory to go with, one that most fans already believed. The books have many much deeper, subtler hints that R+L=D, a more interesting theory that explains why Dany can hatch dragons thought previous Targs couldn't (she has the Stark warging gene) and why Dany saw herself in Rheagar's armor (he's her father). It also makes more interesting use of what the books told us over and over, that Dany know nothing about her family or infancy besides what Viserys told her. Give it some thought!

+Michael Chapman but drogo and the baby were already dead. And plus I thought it was the baby that paid for Drogo's life. How can that be if it was used for a dragon?
Drogo was already dead, but he had king's blood. Mirri Maz Duur was alive, but she didn't have king's blood. Daenerys was alive like Mirri Maz Duur, but also she had king's blood like Drogo. That's why she survived the fire. Drogo's king blood from his dead body paid for one dragon. Mirri Maz Duur's life paid for another dragon. Dany's kind of rebirth from fire paid for third dragon. That's what can pay for life: king's blood and anyone's life. Dany had king's blood and gave her life in the fire but she was resurrected immediately, I think.
+kwadwo baidoo That's possible. Valyrians are the prettiest race in the world. They are all beautiful, they have silver-blonde hair and purple eyes. They are all kind of born from fire. They are connected with dragons who were created in 14 fires in Valyria. So they are the kings of the world or at least Essos or Valyria. But anyway, Daenerys has king's blood (her father was a king) so that doesn't matter. She has king's blood either way. Valyrian (dragon) blood matters only in one thing: Azor Ahai. Only the person who has dragon's blood can be Azor Ahai.
True mate! It is stupid at least! In Fire and Blood, and in some few mentions, dragons are not so easy to kill. I read a quote says "It is one thing to hit a dragon, but quite another to kill it..." I know we all love dragons as show characters, but come on HBO, this is frustrating and ridiculous.
I think there is a massive misunderstanding of "King's Blood" and the power that it holds Melisandre uses Stannis' and Gendry's blood to perform her magic, and she believes that there is power in their blood because they are royalty In Drogo's funeral pyre, you think that it is Drogo's King's blood that is part of the magic But there is another, far more likely explanation for the power in their blood The Baratheons are all descended from Orys, Aegon the Conqueror's half-brother, a Targaryen bastard, meaning that they are all descended from the Valyrian dragonlords The "king's blood" in Drogo's funeral pyre was from Dany's still-born son, not from Drogo Melisandre believes that the power in the blood of Stannis and Gendry comes from their status, being a King, or the son of a King, but I believe that the power lies in their descent from the Targaryens
Fluid Synergy Finally someone else understands the meaning of “King’s Blood”. Baratheon’s have had their bloodline combined with Targaryen blood several times, for example if I’m not mistaken Robert’s grandmother or great grandmother was a Targaryen as well as the example you already made about Orys Baratheon.
I seem to recall that in the novels, Melisandre is eager to get her hands on Mance Rayder and his son to use their blood for spells, which would suggest it is king's blood in general that does the trick, or at least that Melisandre thinks so.
Julian Hartmann As you said, we are in the same place with Melisandre; we just need confirmation at this point. We don’t know for certain, but as I said before it must be because of the magical blood of the Valyrians, otherwise it would be complete nonsense that just by calling yourself king all of a sudden it makes your bloodline magical in some way. I believe at this point in the story Melisandre has just tried magic on the blood of Baratheon’s (who have a bit of Targaryen blood) so we need to see her perform magic on some other “king”.
@@sadek__4952 So, at the time of Summerhall, there were no living dragons (That we know of). We also know that magic as a whole, seems to have been far less potent in the world at this time. The magical glass candles of the Maesters stopped burning; The spells the Alchemist's guild use to create Wildfire decreased in potency. There must be other examples beyond what I can think of here. But Dany's resurrection of the dragon eggs occurs in conjunction with the red comet that burned in the sky above Planetos. This event signifies the return of the power of magic to the world. Afterwards, the glass candles burn again; the alchemist's spells are wildly more potent; Mellisendre grows drastically in power. Things that were not possible in the centuries before are once again within the realm of possibility, and I believe the power residing within the Targaryen bloodline is part of this resurgence of magic.

Looooved this video! You make some excellent points. I would love to hear more about your theories of Dany and this internal combat that she had in her dreams.
Quaithe is shown to use Dragonglass Candles to enter Danyers’ dreams. Marwen & Euron both have Dragonglass candles. Isn’t it possible that they’re the ones in her dreams?
I think the dreams of the blood between her legs is referring to Khal Drogo taking her virginity, or losing her son, both of their deaths along with the witch (forget her name) paid for the Dragons life imo, I think Drogo's spirit lives on in Drogon but I think I already mentioned that! Anyway maybe Dany has to become a woman for any of this to happen, that's what the tearing sound could be? And it seems like Melisandre can't do any meaningful with virgins as she takes Gendry's virginity and ask Jon Snow if he is a virgin. This might be irrelevant but I think it's worth mentioning! Seeing herself in Rhaegar may just mean Rhaegar wasn't the last dragon, she is! I'm sorry I've totally lost my train of thought, I did have more to add but it's gone! Probably better for everyone 😜✌️
watching this video really makes me think that Drop was ,"Nissa Nissa"... the smoke, the sacrifice... I don't know about the salt, but it is really feeling like Dany is AA... Great video!
Dragons are a substitutes for Nuclear Weapons. Dany has a telekinetic gene that is either autosomal recessive or X chromosome-linked comparable to skin changing.
Read pretty much any past GRR Martin story, I'd recommend Call him Moses or Night at the Tarn House, it's revealed that wizards and men of magic are liars. In the Wild Card series he has an obsession with genetics, one plot point involves a man using his psychic powers to kill germ plasma in his partner's womb to prevent his child from being deformed
i dont believe raven and crow means the same, o think george wrote crow or raven for some reason... three eyed crow is not bloodraven, or bloodraven is not three eyed crow.
Dany waking the dragon instead of birthing the dragons is interesting. Especially the icy part. I think she might be the one to awaken jon's inner dragon....I can imagine he won't want to be Targaryen if he thinks Rhaegar kidnapped his mom. He just wants to be stark. But he's the song of ice and fire so at some point he needs to embrace the dragon I guess. I think Jon will be AA but will fight with his undead uncle (ice) and his aunt dany (fire).
yoooooo that little dig there toward the end I yelled cause I had never heard R + L = D until legit 2h ago and mostly people saying it's shit but you are a respectable theory dude and it feels like you at least don't 100% buy into R + L = J so... idk I like dany as lyanna's daughter I mean daenerys stark!! too cool
I think it was all planed, including Rhaegar himself. He knew that Dany was the one to hatch those dragons. The Martells and Daynes and Varys and Mirri Maz and Marwyn could be all behind it, too. And Quaithe. Dany was ment to have those eggs because they knew only she could hatch them. (Targaryen and Dayne blood)
Hey I just wanted to say it was so REAL to see you do pre-game with the don! Made my day! Hope you'll join them again in the future. Good stuff. I subscribed a year ago after the very first video of yours that I saw which I believe was the Cersei one and something happened to your light and you said "why does god hate me!" So funny. I paused and subscribed straight away because I thought this is my kind of shit. Although I disagree with some of your theories I enjoy hearing what you have to say all the same especially the rambling meandering ones because that's like a real conversation. Anyway keep it up, always fun to watch and most of all Thanks
Hey do not forget the woman from Ashai that comes into Dany's dreams and tells her she is this and that and that she needs to go back in order to move forward.....underneath the showers in order to find the light....west to east etc. The lady of the Mask
IMO king’s blood is used for a different magic by Melisandre. I don’t think royalty figures into the hatching of dragons. All the valyrian nobles are dragon lords by way of magic and a pact (with whom? Who knows). A valyrian woman must sacrifice a thrall and her self. The “mother” survives (given the ritual is performed properly) and the thrall’s death pays for the lives of the “mother” and babies. That Mirri was trained in multiple forms of magic is incidental. Her role was simply to die. Whoever or whatever is the force behind the magic and the pact, I believe has a connection to valyrian women and while Dany was never taught the ritual, I think she is naturally drawn to it and the eggs and instinctually does what she needs to do. I also think Dany’s death was always in George’s plan because he doesn’t want a formula fairytale ending.
Can I just say you just scared the shit out of me! Your voice, the music the illustrations, is this fantasy or horror?! Awesome video, when is part 2 coming?
man the parallels between the meddling of the children of the forest with peoples dreams and the current state of propaganda and BS in this world is chilling.. almost got goosebumps. +1 from me sir.. pure brilliance here.
So the only problem with the Children being in league with the Others is that the Children helped fight the Others last time. Nan is right about a lot because she doesn't discount lore, but that doesn't make her immune to her own personal bias. Nan is old, like she was already old when Ned was a kid, so no one living(south of the wall) knows how old, except herself. She may have a reason to be upset with Blood Raven himself as far as we know.
What I think is that since they put eggs in the crib of baby targaryens says they form a bond and the fire from that bond along with the right temperature will hatch the egg. The Dreams Dany has is of Drogon who tests her will, seeing if she's worthy of starting a bond and when she passes the tests, embracing who she is she is then drawn to the fire she laid the eggs in and the magic from the witch and the magic of the dragon eggs protect her as they hatch. If you don't form a bond with the eggs it leads to a tragedy like with summerhall.
With the last three reason you present, it reminds me of Preston Jacobs theories about the thousand worlds. I know that plantoes is not Sci-Fi but GRRM has taken parts of it into a song of ice and fire, with mankind's two enemies sending unreliable prophetic and visions dreams to humans through out time, leading to folly and death.
+Thomas Alvarez I can't believe you haven't been inundated by angry trolls for suggesting that ASOIF has *any* connection to the Thousand Worlds. Well, here they come, because I agree with you! If humans from Earth landed on Planetos 20,000 years ago (give or take a couple of centuries), that's plenty of time to forget science and technology, especially if planet-wide natural disasters helped the regression along. I suspect the Others and the Children are indigenous to Planetos, and have had Just About Enough of humans!
Kris Aaron Nice head cannon, Although GRRM Says that is it no fantasyy, not scifi, although this would be a good closing message and it would Fit George's make Love not War Motto.
+Thomas Alvarez What did Martin mean by saying ASOIF is "no fantasy and not scifi"? Of course ASOIF is fantasy! Unless he thinks dragons are real beings and magic works... and if it does, where the hell is my Lamborghini?
If "only death can pay for life", who has to die for Jon Snow to awaken from his final sleep? Was it Stannis, the King? Will it be the Red Woman, who now believes her beliefs are false? Shireen, who died in fire?
I know a lot of you may think this is very basic reasoning but what if the the dance of Fire and Ice refers to Jon Snow (ice) and Daenerys Targaryen (Fire)?
The bloodraven was targaryen before but he turned to be a three eyes raven. It goes back to the three prophecy theory again. I guess the three eyes raven knew the night king would awake once more. The timing was so prefect. Rhaegar knew Elia Marte could not bare anymore child, so he seek another woman. Then he found Lyanna. Somehow Bran was later the next three eyes raven.
Hello! First time caller, long time listener. :) House of the Undying - Visions "A beautiful, naked woman being ravished by four little men who resemble the dwarf servitor" What if this vision was Rhaella being raped by Aery II, during some sort of blood magic. The four servants were burned victims (sacrifices) of Aerys II. In order to fulfill the his prophecy which was Daenery's birth at Dragonstone. This theory is based on a statement Jaime Lannister made in the book he recalled Rhaella cries had been worse than Lord Chelsted’s screaming. The book also noted that Aerys II grew sexually abusive toward Rhaella. He developed a sexual fetish for fire and death, only sleeping with Rhaella after he had executed someone by burning. Also the the queen's maids reported seeing scratches, bruises and bite marks all over her body.
I think Jon will be the next dragon to be born. If dragons are born from blood and fire, the blood was Lyanna's on the birthing bed, the fire is Dany's barbeque.
The ghost of high heart says that to Arya because she knows what’s going happen at the twins. She knows of the red wedding and that Arya is going lose her family. She even mentions to Beric and Thoros to not look for Cat at Riverrun. She compares the red wedding to Summerhall because Arya is going feel the same pain that she felt at Summerhall by losing Jenny of oldstones and everyone else and both events being huge tragedies that shape the future.
When she takes off Rhaegar's helm and sees herself it could also means she's the last dragon now along with her recalling Jorah's sorrowful face saying Rhaegar was the last dragon so maybe it could be that.
Hmm, so maybe Melisandre's magic may have worked, if she used more king's blood? Not just a few drops? Ahh geez... Don't tell me that the Children created dragons too, to abolish the rouge white walker army?
But I mean, if her surviving the fire required some great confluence of events, why did it need to happen at all? After all, wasn't she already performing the ritual, unwittingly? Why did Dany have to be in the fire? Did she have to be in the fire?
Back in old valria the dragon lord family's like the targeryen the did somthing magical to bond with dragon they bred with them and use magic ect so now the magic to bound with them is just genetically inside of them
So, the end all be all of this general theory, is that she's a partially conflicted psychopath? Correct me if I'm wrong it just seems that way. Given the torn nature of either of her dreams, one could be bloodlust, and the other could be conscience.
I feel like that's what it's going to lead up to. That the Children & the Others are in league with each other and Bran will become their new prisoner like Blood Raven which will be the cliff hanger at the end of season 6.
+Monster Factory I think Bran may have made himself a "prisoner" simply by showing up. Yes, Hodor/Walder/Willas can carry him off, but where will he go that's as safe as the Lair of the Three-Eyed Raven? Remember, it's damn cold out there and the snow gets hundreds of feet deep during the Long Winter. Uh... and what *are* they eating while hunkering down? Those Children are small and I bet they cook up tough and stringy...
If only blood magic/sacrifice can cause a dragon egg to hatch is it possible Dany's dead child and Khal Drogo were also involved as sacrifices? Rhaego, Drogo, and Mirri Maz Duur being three sacrifices to hatch three dragons?
I subscribe to the theory that Bloodraven and the Three-Eyed Crow are two different entities, since ravens and crows are two different species of birds and have different symbolic meanings in different cultures. Check out the videos by the Order of the Green Hand if you’re interested.
If the Children are in league with the Others, how come they are the only ones who own the dragon glass? They used to hunt with those things. It's only logical that they used it against the Others, that's why it's their main weapon, isn't it? Thanks for the videos, please keep up the good work!
basically i got a theory, please can you expand it in a video if you can please. so basically the the warg master (what i call him) says to bran stark he will not walk again but he will fly. as he is a warg and controls animals and human, i think he will control a dragon because what the warg master said to him and he is teaching him to be stronger, because i saw the video what you said R+L=J is false so there are three dragons but technically need to have three dragons (conquers of westeros, three conquers three dragon riders.). so if you can please can you expand my theory please.

Remember Dany killed the Khals and walked out of the flames unharmed. In the show she is fireproof
Maybe the Targaryens chose the words " Fire and blood" as a reminder of how to hatch dragons?
Based on this, i want my family motto to say "always boil the water before you put the pasta"

+IdeasOfIceAndFire do you watch Preston Jacobs
+Ty Noguchi You do realize that trying to explain magic out of ASOIAF is hijacking GRRM's imagination right?
Read pretty much any past GRR Martin story, I'd recommend Call him Moses or Night at the Tarn House, it's revealed that wizards and men of magic are liars. In the Wild Card series he has an obsession with genetics, one plot point involves a man using his psychic powers to kill germ plasma in his partner's womb to prevent his child from being deformed
Miri saved Dany on purpose by the spell. Miri is in league with Marwyn and they want dragons to come back to the realm.
+Victoria Rogers cool possibility
*Both fearing and embracing is a good approach for dealing with most natural forces.*
i dont believe raven and crow means the same, o think george wrote crow or raven for some reason... three eyed crow is not bloodraven, or bloodraven is not three eyed crow.
Discovered this channel just yesterday and it's already one of my favourites! Love the song of ice and fire, keep up ;)
your reading is epic, shivering, its just fantastic !
I have a mighty need for Part II.
(Targaryen and Dayne blood)
what do dayne blood have to do with hatch dragons
Quaithe
I love your ideas and your videos, but yeah, your natural voice is grand.
I didn't remember much of this. Guess it'stime to pay A Game of Thrones a little visit. Very good video!
great material, but my dude, that accent is like 3 different british accents at once. please stop.
I would love to see if she somehow ends up with a magic sword...idk, I'm definitely missing something... I can't wait for WoW
Kris Aaron Sorry I meant Fantasy and not sci fi
whoa!!! that first Balerion Sketch tho.
Your english accent is hilariously bad. But your videos are good.
Didn't she also receive a bunch of books about dragons, and care for young dragons?
Great video, looking forward to a part 2
I only have one word for your videos....AMAZING!
THE ACCENT IS SENDING ME
If "only death can pay for life", who has to die for Jon Snow to awaken from his final sleep? Was it Stannis, the King? Will it be the Red Woman, who now believes her beliefs are false? Shireen, who died in fire?
I know a lot of you may think this is very basic reasoning but what if the the dance of Fire and Ice refers to Jon Snow (ice) and Daenerys Targaryen (Fire)?
part 2!
can't wait
+Ale Escobedo tis coming, my sweet summer child
Great video bro! don't get distracted by idiots.
House of the Undying - Visions
"A beautiful, naked woman being ravished by four little men who resemble the dwarf servitor"
What if this vision was Rhaella being raped by Aery II, during some sort of blood magic.
I like to think that whatever Egg did in Summerhall allowed Dany to later hatch dragon eggs.
there is no part two???
I am really enjoying your videos ;o)
I think Jon will be the next dragon to be born. If dragons are born from blood and fire, the blood was Lyanna's on the birthing bed, the fire is Dany's barbeque.
Nah Jon is more like Ashara's son in the books .
Sure would like to see movies made out of the side tales of SOIAF
Now I wish Rhaegar wasn't a stillborn if just so we could see a Dothraki with While hair
Hmm, so maybe Melisandre's magic may have worked, if she used more king's blood? Not just a few drops?
Ahh geez... Don't tell me that the Children created dragons too, to abolish the rouge white walker army?
have you or are you gonna do a part 2 very intriguing I love it
But I mean, if her surviving the fire required some great confluence of events, why did it need to happen at all? After all, wasn't she already performing the ritual, unwittingly? Why did Dany have to be in the fire? Did she have to be in the fire?
Back in old valria the dragon lord family's like the targeryen the did somthing magical to bond with dragon they bred with them and use magic ect so now the magic to bound with them is just genetically inside of them
3:08 PLEASE what is the name of that melody/music? So beautiful.
Cool video, will you do part 2 after the season is over?
where's part 2?
Love your videos man keep up the good work
When is part two? I want to learn more also love your videos.
So, the end all be all of this general theory, is that she's a partially conflicted psychopath? Correct me if I'm wrong it just seems that way. Given the torn nature of either of her dreams, one could be bloodlust, and the other could be conscience.
Soo Dany comitted Sati?
10:17 ok now I wish he wasn't a stillborn because I would LOVE to see that art brought to life on the show
Bro... like how you said the three eyed raven was against dragons... what if Danny was being controlled in the end if GOT. By the three eyed raven...
you should revisit these dreams in light of season 8
I love love love your theories series you are awesome.... did you ever consider writing and publishing you own book?
you mentioned Dany was burnt several times in the books, would you be able to make a video outlining them? 😊
She didnt really get burnt when drogon breathed fire at her she got blister and her hair burned
What saved Dany from the fire?
PLOT ARMOUR!
There is a theory that the witch was casting a protection spell for herself from the fire, but instead the spell protected danny
well L =12 and R = 18 and together its 30 and after 26 the ABC starts again and the fourth letter is D, just saying
I looooooooove this!
If the Children are in league with the Others, how come they are the only ones who own the dragon glass? They used to hunt with those things. It's only logical that they used it against the Others, that's why it's their main weapon, isn't it?
Thanks for the videos, please keep up the good work!
Your videos are so good!
basically i got a theory, please can you expand it in a video if you can please. so basically the the warg master (what i call him) says to bran stark he will not walk again but he will fly. as he is a warg and controls animals and human, i think he will control a dragon because what the warg master said to him and he is teaching him to be stronger, because i saw the video what you said R+L=J is false so there are three dragons but technically need to have three dragons (conquers of westeros, three conquers three dragon riders.). so if you can please can you expand my theory please.
Love your videos, keep it up.
And don't forget about Quaith! Who might have access to a glass candle?
