Thank you for this video, I was thinking oh easy peasy seeing the front install BUT WOW when get to the back its a shame how such a crammed spot to install the back plugs, I am tinker girl but so far dont have the patience for the back...Im giving in taking to the shop to do both front and back..Still thank you for recording
Great video, taking it to the shop coast from 5 to 7 hundred dollars so far. It’s a lot and I know it’s not easy but you made it look easy and possible. Thank you. According to my mileage I was told I needed a tuneup. So far I am not having any problems with it so what to do. I’m still seeking.
Thank you for the video. Early model, have to intake manifold. Later model, you don't have to. I have 2014 Buick Enclave, I could see and touch the 3 plugs in the back without remove manifold.
it only takes 20 minutes to remove the upper plenum then you can see what you're doing then it only takes 15 minutes to replace all the plugs and apply some dielectric grease on the coils that will prevent future misfires
so you can get to the back three without removing the intake? i was at the auto shop and they told me 2hrs to do the back three because the intake had to be removed...i have a 2014 gmc acadia also. is it really necessary to remove the intake?
i just watched a few videos and they did remove it and looks crazy over work. this is the second video I seen NOT removing the intake. gonna try this myself next time a I have a day off.
It's NOT necessary to remove it, but it does help with access. To me it seems like too much of a hassle to take it apart and reassemble the intake rather than just squeeze my hands on the back side of the engine.
Best Video Ive seen in a looong time. Brief and to the point. No useless chatter.

I didn't realize shops were charging that much.
I like how you show the back three. Others skip them.
Yea, those are the hardest to get to too.
ALL I Want to know is which one is NUMBER 1 I have a 2014 Acadia
Great video you save me a lot of money. Thank you
Glad I could help
Can you list the tools you used to complete the job? Great video! So helpful!!!
5/8 spark plug socket, 10mm socket, various extensions, ratchet, body panel tool...I think that's it. I tried to show all the tools in the video.

but the gasket is $50-80 extra. A couple of scratched knuckles are worth the savings.
Thank you. Definitely helped me out

Would removing the hood give you easier access?
That's a good idea
Yeah, I like your video other people take the intake off .
Thanks 👍
Great! Can you come do my car.🥰
thanks. i have to get me some good tools
Why did you change it? just want to know please
It was having a misfire on one of the cylinders and the owner wanted to just change them all.
